I'm just pointing that you actually do believe that kids should not have access to some books. Your arguments drawn to their logical conclusion.

See the real argument isn't "you can't tell me what my kids can read.". The real discussion is "what should the kids have access to."

We must likely are that kids should not have access to porn or bestiality and such. See you do have standards on what kids, including other people's kids, shouldn't have access to in school libraries.

I don't care in the slightest what books you think are suitable or not for your kids. If you don't want them to read some of them then tell them not to. But don't dare to tell other parents what they should do with their kids. That is the only argument up for discussion.

I see what you are doing here. That's not the discussion and you know it. You proved it with your other post. You certainly do have standards you don't want kids to have access to. So there are books you do t think should not be in schools. You have a lines too. So this discussion is over until you admit it.

Well, the grandkids haven't turned up yet, so...

We have all seen examples of what books people want banned. Those are the ones that are under discussion. Those are the only books under discussion. And I have never seen or read about or heard of or been told about any book in a school library that I wouldn't mind either of my kids reading at an age which I would determine as being appropriate. That would always be a decision that my wife and I would make. You have zero input on that. You will not dictate whether they are appropriate.

If someone wants to put books about 'bestiality' (for some reason the term I use is deemed inappropriate) or making napalm or crystal meth in the school library then you be sure to let me know. OK? Otherwise I'm not the slightest bit interested what you do or do not think is appropriate for my children.

Are they? I didn't see that. Bottom line she and her husband were involved in adult behaviors. Wrong though they may be by my values at least. In the leftist world they were just fine. If she was going around telling other people they can't have threesomes, or lesbian sex then she would also be a hypocrite.

The world is full of them. And she hasn't been on the board for a while now.

It would also be a huge stain on MFL if they all knew about it and kept her in, but I haven't seen that yet either.
