First Brain Surgery has been scheduled

We go in on the 20th of November to have our daughter's first brain surgery. First of we don't know how many.... They will be removing the Cerebellar Tonsils which are attached to the cerebellum, removing half of her C1 vertebrea, and poking around very close to the spine.

She will not be home for Thanksgiving---but since we have not celebrated with family for more than two years---Mommy, Daddy and Baby Mary will have a prayerful thanksgiving together, in the hospital.

Most children's hospitals go all out on the holidays to make it festive for the children and their families. Ask about it. If they don't you can send your DH out to get some turkey etc take out and make yourselves a holiday.

I cannot possibly imagine how scary this is for you and for Mary but I'm sure God will prevail.

Praying too. I know anytime our little ones have surgery, it is just so difficult on us moms. ((((hugs)))) and Thanksgiving is only a date. You can have it any day of the year you'd like
