Hi we have a band that runs our night services at the church i attend and they direct the service at youth so ill c if i can help, basically Hillsong is really good and so is any song that you can add a beat to - even old hyms that seem boring can b made interesting

Delirious has some good worship stuff.

There are the Passion albums (not the movie.. the worship band)

Third Day has good worship

Learning any of the songs off of any of the worship CDs produced by some of the contemporary Christian artists would be good.

Also, once you get a band going. If you have some really talented musicians that can write music. Rewrite some favorite hymns with a youthful flare! We did this and it was awesome!

hillsongs united live, and planet shakers are good. and there is also Christian City Church Oxford Falls some of their music is fantastic! and i think some delerious songs would be great.
some of Third Day's songs could be used too.

and mysticsmurf we do hillsong - everyday too much so we started to call it every sunday.. lol (we did it like 5 weeks in a row!)

These two guys aren't super well known yet, but they are very talented. Dave Luben and Matt Christinot. Dave played for a camp down in Panama City and Matt played for World Changers groups down in Savana Georgia. They were both very, very talented and thier songs reverberate their love for God in a way that both youth and adults can relate to. Definitly check them out if you get the chance ^^
