I don't have a tiktok, Instagram, Facebook, X, or any other media account. So I normally don't see these kinds of videos but I ran across this on Substack.
Don't know who he is, but kind of like some of the right wing US podcastors, he could be just paid by foreign entities.
Yet if you listen to his summation of American to Chinese manufacturing, to me he hits in out the park.

Maybe so, but I feel that there is truth to what he is saying. When our government shipped our manufacturing/ jobs overseas for cheap labor, we had wage stagnation and could no longer compete for wages. In the 90s, my in-laws were laid off from the textile companies in EL Paso because of our policies. A lot of the working class was affected because the majority doesn't have the education to get a paying job. When we have manufacturers and the service sectors competing for workers, then the people's wages will increase.

I don't think it's government shipping jobs. Private businesses make that decision. Yes, for cheap labor, and yes for sales to that specific business sector. I do agree government policy can make shipping those jobs out more attractive.

Yes, you are right, and I'm no fan of the greedy corporations that have harmed the middle class for profits. Sadly, I didn't recognize it till my kids grew up and joined the workforce and tried to buy a home with a family. The sad thing is, my kids are educated. American youth are struggling.
