Where do our thoughts come from?

Normally I would not just post a video about something but this is too good.
I even skip those because I'm just not in the mood to watch one.
This one pertains to a subject that has the key to understanding this idea of consciousness. It does have content about evil spirits, so if you don't believe they exist you might not like this.
It amazes me how the top scientists still cannot explain what consciousness is and where it comes from. Any way, start it at 7 minutes if you want a shorter version.

Where do thoughts come from? that's easy, lil tiny leprechauns run around your brain poking certain parts of it with a very tiny sword.

Bad thoughts come from blunt force trauma, the leprechauns who prefer maces over swords, it damages the outer layer of the thought egg, and shatters what was once supposed to be a happy thought, as where the swords just safely pierce, and open the shining ray of joy that is the thought.

Or this is the theory I'm gonna be going with from now on, pretty much as good as anything we got, seein as what we got is nothing.

I recommend that you try Argyle socks which tend to bring about a depth of thought that far exceeds the use of plain colored socks. Also, wearing matching socks can impose limitations, epistemic boundaries are further surpassed with mismatched argyles.... It is good to know that other s fully appreciate the power of socks.

@Shempster Hi, Shempster I think he is saying that our thoughts come from outside of us. They come either from Satan's spiritual kingdom, or our thoughts come from God.

And we do have how the Holy Spirit brings to our remembrance things which Jesus has said. So, also, I can see that the Holy Spirit can have us remembering things which God wants us to remember I think this happens to me. My remembering can be in different spiritual qualities with different reactions.

He says we can be tuned to the spiritual frequency of God or not God. And then if we are in a carnal mind state, we bring in thoughts which lead to death and destruction. But if we are tuned to God, we are led to peace and life.

I would say this is more or less correct, except I do not believe it is our physical brain which can have our thoughts at the spiritual level. Our spiritual thoughts can effect our physical brains, though, to have nerve electrical activities. And these physical effects can be recorded. But deeper there is the spiritual going on

So, I pray to test the spiritual quality of the thinking and imagining that is in me. I check and see if it is in pure and kind and pleasant peace and quiet (1 Peter 3:4) all-loving And then trust God in me to have me do what He really wants, in the ruling of His peace > Colossians 3:15).

I test even His thoughts, by seeing if and how He has me doing what I am thinking. And mainly He has me doing better than I might have understood a good thought to mean

God created Man in His own SPIRITUAL Image, Likeness (Genesis 1:26)

God has no BODY.(sarx) God has no SOUL.(psyche)

God is SPIRIT. (worship Him in SPIRIT and in TRUTH) John 4:24

Man has a Body/Soul combo which is mortal.
Man has a SPIRIT which is immortal.
Soul and SPIRIT are separate and different.
SPIRIT "communes" with Soul.

Hebrews 4:12 (ALL NASB)
For the "word of God" is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword,
and piercing as far as the division of SOUL(PSYCHE) and SPIRIT(PNEUMA),
of both joints and marrow (BODY/SARX-SOMA),
and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the "heart".

of the heart...GREEK 2588...kardia...denotes the (INTERACTIVE) centre of all physical and spiritual life
b.of the understanding, the faculty and seat of the intelligence c.of the will and character (CONSCIENCE?)

7 then the dust (Body/Soul combo) will return to the earth as it was, (Genesis 2:7)
and the SPIRIT (breath of life) will return to God who gave it. (Genesis 1:26)

Who gives breath to the people on it (Body/Soul combo)
And SPIRIT to those who walk in it,

forms the SPIRIT of man within him,

THUS: ManKIND is divided into 3 parts:
1. SPIRIT = (~God conscience/ spiritual GOD Image = pneuma),
2. SOUL = (~psyche / personality / God CHARACTER~ Likeness = psyche) and
3. BODY = (~man's machine, controlled by brain bucket/CNS = sarx/SOMA)

The SOUL of Mankind (male and female) is also a DYNAMIC REACTION of its 3 parts:
1. MIND...the process of intellect...stored knowledge...its function is "thinking"/ THOUGHTS / "reasoning"
2. WILL...your decision maker...your computer-reactor...your balancer
3. EMOTIONS...how you "feel"...natural reactions / intuitive responses

The Body of Man has its 5 senses / sensors (maybe 6?) to interact with environment....Biology 101

The Soul of Man is the "snowflake" individual personality which starts with some genetic predispositions and is generally developed in and around the brain "bucket" and CNS electrical conductions...Psychology 101

The Spirit of Man searches for its Creator,..Bible 101
At the time of salvation, the battle begins:
OLD MAN: BODY / SOUL against God ...VERSUS... NEW MAN: BODY / SOUL / SPIRIT / Indwelling God The Holy SPIRIT.

Jewish tradition (?) believed that you:
1. KNOW in your "heart"...Spirit / conscience
2. FEEL in your "gut"...emotions
3. DECIDE in your "head"/brain...mind
