We are not gods or God, but, we have Him in us as our life. We are the Body and He is the head. We share His life, but not His authority.
Yes, I know we are not GOD, but Jesus Himself declared 'are you not gods". What was He referring to ... really the judges .... but we too will reign with Christ.
We have also been given that authority in His Name (and none other). As scriptures say we have authority but only in HIS NAME.
Now, what I want to know, if we were created before the foundations of the earth, does that mean metaphysically we once were already in heaven? but just now are born as humans setting in motion the purposes of God on this earth, before we return to our rightful place. I am taking Jesus Christ the Son of Man as our example here, for while on earth, He would receive revelation to His real eternal status and gradually declare that to mankind when they were ready for this revealing.
Like the manifestation of the sons of God ... and the latter rain ... well what is the stimulus to put this into action. As, without being too judgemental, most Christians are not living in that spiritual realm of victory or it is only looked at with the pastors, and evangelists, etc. But the Holy Spirit was for ALL believers.
And also could it be we have an eternal existence prior to this earlthy body now .... having being created before the foundations of the earth ... or is it just metaphorically that God had already thought of us in His mind?
As if we really realise this, can we not start doing exploits for our God while on this earth? Just as the bible says about those who will do exploits. Sorry but I will need some more time to actually find these bible references I am talking about, but I think it is in the book of Daniel, which says them that know their God will do exploits. And I assume we are talking about the supernatural here?
Many thanks, but often times these questions are not raised because people fear saying them, but it is so very interesting because to me it is the mystery that St Paul said had been revealed to us. This dispensation of Grace, and the 10 virgins with the oil, and only 5 made sure they had enough. What saith the Spirit? What's holding us back from revealing the glory of God? Or do we remain under our own insignificance because of fear of being thought proud, and our own sinfulness, but if only we realise it is Christ's righteouness that God sees on us now, because of the blood of Jesus shed once and for all, that we might be more willing to step out in faith knowing we are co-heirs with Christ.
I know people will come back to me quoting verses, which I agree, but it's not quite hitting the message ... i.e. where are YOUR exploits, in fact where are mine?
