Yes but why did he cry out to god as his last words on the cross? We Christians believe in a Triune God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
The Father is not the Son, the Son is not the Spirit, the Spirit is not the Father yet the three are One.
Jesus existed before creation. He came into the world and thus became man, without ceasing to be God.

-No, Jesus is God
Well I don't understand why he cried out to god if he was a form of God. I think he was divine but became a god after he died. He is the son of god. Not God himself? And on earth he was the son of God and the son of man , both one and the same.Hi Stephen. Could you perhaps explain a little more why you think that Jesus' last words on the cross infer a lack of divine nature in Jesus?
I'm not clear why it would follow from that premise.
Ah I did not know that.it makes for a different viewpointYes, you are missing something. Read Psalm 22
Jesus was quoting the opening line of the Psalm, and if you continue reading the Psalm to the end you will understand that Jesus was not crying out in despair, but bringing to mind a prophesy made by King David regarding the Messiah. Ultimately it is a Psalm of victory.

Hello Stephen, the Lord Jesus certainly deserves your respect, and while it's true that living out the truths that He taught us in the Bible will likely make you a better person (in the here and now), surely there must be more of a reason than that to explain why He chose to come here and not only walk among us and teach us, but die on the Cross for us, as well, yes? Here's why I read the Bible and go to church. Simply out of respect for Jesus and his commitment to humanity and simply to realise that living Jesus truths will make you a better person.
