Volcano Dream

Hey, bro..... some impressions and some things from what I've learned in my journey of hearing from God regarding dreams.....

You were still sharing your room with your younger brother in this dream, so I believe this should cue you in that your dream concerns not only you but your "brethren," so to speak....

Looking out a window in a dream often indicates a revelation into what is going on in the spiritual realm. Since you make a point of looking to the south, I will say that something coming from the south is often something coming from below, possibly from the demonic realm. West indicates end or death. (Now, none of these things are set in stone, obviously, and we have to hear from the Lord, but it's something to start with.) The fact that what you see out this window is not what you would normally see underscores this interpretation - that you are not seeing into the natural. (Earlier this morning I actually read a dream in which the person looked out the window and saw a HUGE tornado - but when everyone else looked out the same window, they saw an amusement park. :O )

I think this statement of yours is very telling (sometimes comments we make in passing as we relay our dreams are the most telling): It was still dark out but soon will be light. Worth thinking about.

Looking at the word "volcano" - I am thinking of something that is about to "erupt" - in your vision you see the volcano erupting - hmmm.... sometimes looking words up in the dictionary helps us to see exactly what they mean - the Lord has used this in my experience anyway..... According to answers.com - To emerge violently from restraint or limits; explode: My neighbor erupted in anger over the noise. To become violently active: The volcano erupted after years of dormancy. To force out or release something, such as steam, with violence or suddenness. Literally/etymologically, the word erup means "break forth" - hmmm..... And if it's "spewing blood" - this to me shows that people are hurt in the process of this eruption - or it's just showing the violence / force of the eruption.

This blood/lava is destroying everything in its path.... whatever this volcano represents, it's effecting everyone - but likely others don't even see it - remember, you're seeing into the spiritual realm. Is there something you're seeing that others don't seem to see? Not even the "weather-man" - the one who sees into the "first heaven" - sees it - he would represent some persont that you think of as sensitive or wise, someone who should probably have a clue - but no.
You called everyone into the basement so that they wouldn't be hit by this blood/lava that they didn't see. Seems that you have some sphere of influence - this volcano is probably a demonic assignment against this group of people that you have some influence over, people who trust you.

Going into the basement.... this reminds me of the Secret Place - a place where you've stored up treasure in your heart - a place where you meet with Him - a place that others cannot see - let me tell you what I feel that the Lord is saying.... You will walk through this fire, but you will not be burned. You will feel the heat, but it will not scorch you. Your love for others will move you to bring them into this place of safety. Do not fear. I am with you, says the Lord, and I will spare you and your house.
