A most profound and precious verse and reminder and promise from God.

What is a "key" to having "no fear" is when we understand and embrace the "fear of the Lord".

When we "fear God", we fear NOTHING else.

The spirit that lives in believers and should give energy to the pastors isn't one of timidity. That's the spirit which produces hirelings, people that cater to their hearers' ears. It's the spirit that leads to hypocrisy.

The true Spirit that should actuate believers is the Spirit rooted in God's power that knows no fear. Love's Spirit which lets a person make sacrifices for God's cause. Sanity's Spirit, that lets pastors to use common sense, to use that tact which chooses the best methods and so gains Gospel friends.

This is grace's gift, through the Spirit, and should so be found in people that are doing the ministry of saving souls, as well as in believers that recognize their duty of placing themselves in God's service.
