I lost a study guide that I have been working on for weeks now. This morning I was going to work on the topic study. My study guide is missing. It is 'Rebuilding God's City by John MacArthur. I have been working on this study for weeks now and really searched the scriptures, did research to answer the study questions. Now my study guide is missing. There is no logical explanation for this situation. I have been screaming, crying, and praying. I thought I would share what I'm going through on Christian Forums. I don't expect anyone else to give a hoot about someone loosing bible study notes. I'm really going through a lot right now. Would appreciate your prayers.

Thoughts for the future. Has anyone ever lost notes or had a valuable papers destroyed? I am trying to think of a new protective measure for the future. Have been thinking of making photocopies of my notes on a copy machine. They can probably even be download to a word document and stored on a computer.

Thank you,

Lonnie

I feel for you. Situations like yours can be very frustrating. One plus is what you studied is probably fresh in you mind. So jot down what you can recall.

Since you are handwriting your study notes making copies is a good idea. Also, it may be a good idea to scan your notes (most printers have that option) and save them as a file on your computer. I personally do most of my note taking on my computer and make backups onto an external hard drive. Just a thought. I hope it helps.

I will stand with you in prayer. May God shed light on where your runaway notes are hiding.

The next day I discovered that I was missing my winter scarf. Then I remembered taking my bookbag the a local nursing home. I sat my bookbag, coat, and scarf down on a couch. I took a resident to her room in a wheelchair. Came back later and picked up the bookbag and went home. I think one of the dementia patients picked up the scarf and grabbed the study guide out of the bag. The nurses aids are keeping a look out for those items. It has been a learning experience. I would recommend that when visiting a nursing home. Never take a valuable study bible or sermon notes etc.... Everything will be okay. Thank you for listening and praying.

You are very welcome. Prayer works. Also, it just might be possible someone is gaining insight from your study notes. We do serve an awesome God who leads, guides, and directs our steps for His purposes. May God Bless!
