Dear TAN Patron,
The purpose of this letter is to thank all of you who purchased books this week in response to our last Fridays email letter/advertisement. As you probably recall, TAN had to file a Chapter 11 Bankruptcy ("Protection from Creditors") on February 18, 2005. And right now we need to get caught up on current bills, try to build some cash reserve, and prepare a Payment Plan for the creditors for the pre-petition debts we owe prior to 2/18/05, and prove to the Court we are a viable company.
The return on last weeks email was some 3.2%, which may not sound too good, but it gave us 620+ website orders for this weekthru Thursdaywhich is 300% more than normal website sales, and is actually an excellent return on an email for us.

Because we received a larger than normal percentage of new customers among the website orders this week, we presume that many of you forwarded our e-mail on to your own contact lists. If you did, again, thank you! If you have not forwarded our last e-mail to your e-mail contacts, perhaps you would help us out by doing so. Believe me, the results of this weeks Internet activity were excellent, very gratifying, and helped us out tremendously!
Please realize that in a Chapter 11 Bankruptcy, our company has to show a profit each month and demonstrate to the Court that we can shoulder the Payment Plan we present to our pre-petition creditors. Therefore, it is crucial to our survival to demonstrate month by month that we are building more and more sales. You should realize also that the potential of these great Catholic books is to cause a conversion and/or to help a person rectify his life and save his soul. Helping to distribute these life-changing, potentially soul-saving books can be a great participation in the work all we Catholics are called to do for our fellow human beingswhich is expressed so admirably in St. John the Baptists resounding injunction: "Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make straight his paths," (Matt. 3:3), which might be paraphrased, "Help him to do His work among your fellow human beings."
