Here is a youtube channel that does reivews/overviews/summaries of various groups and in the 2 minute review below - he is giving his overview of the Seventh-day Adventist denomination's beliefs and history.
So while some of his statements are true - a lot of them are either mostly-true or a bit misleading.
The Seventh-day Adventist (SDA) denomination is really pretty close to the following:
1. Very much like Seventh-day Baptists when it comes to basic Bible beliefs
a. 66 books of the Bible
b. Saved by Grace through faith
c. literal first and 2nd coming of Christ
d. Believer's baptism
e. Lord's supper
f. Literal 1000 year millennium in Rev 20
g. All saved Christians are under the New Covenant of Jer 31:31-34 and Heb 8:6-12
We believe
2.. There is a literal hell/lake-of-fire in Rev 20. Those cast in to that lake of fire are destroyed "both body and soul" Matt 10:28 after some time of torment
3. There will be a literal rapture of the 1 Thess 4:13-18, Matt 24:19-31 form (and also described in Rev 19)
4. Sola Scriptura testing of all doctrine and practice where all teaching is compared to scripture
5. God has a literal sanctuary in heaven Heb 8:1-6 where Christ is literally our High Priest - interceding for us
6. We accept the fact that Ellen White was given real messages by God - but we do not use her as a source for doctrine -- only the Bible is used to support our 28 fundamental beliefs and acceptance or rejection of them has to be sola scriptura.
7. We believe in the continuation of spiritual gifts in 1 Cor 12 but we do not believe the popular form of speaking in tongues is what 1 Cor 12, Acts 2 and 1 Cor 14 are describing.
8. We believe in the last day warning messages of Rev 14 - and it's "everlasting gospel" Rev 14:6
9. We believe that the judgment message is set forth in the Bible in Rom 2, Dan 7, 2 Cor 5:10 and the start for it is found in Daniel 8
