This could be the most watched debates in presidential history. Past debates have never really changed the face of a presidential race but like most things during this years election cycle past models and strategies have fallen to the waste side. I provide a breakdown of each candidates strengths and weaknesses, the keys to the debate, and my prediction of who will win and why. https://thesystemsscientist.com/2016/09/25/1trump-vs-clinton-the-debate-for-the-ages/

I'm watching the debate at a debate watch party with Democratic women. If I decide to drink a shot for every time Trump loses his temper I'll be calling an Uber for sure.

More than winning or losing, Trump has to convince the only group against him he has even a remote chance of turning to vote for him--college educated men. I think he's permanently lost college-educated women, ethnic minorities, and immigrants.

And his debate persona--speaking at a fourth grade level, bragging, glossing over--or eliminating--facts about his policies, is exactly what won't win over college-educated men. It may speak to those who are already in his corner--but he needs to expand the categories.

And if he attacks Hillary he loses more women (apparently Carly Fiorina was the person he attacked hardest in the primary debates, and it backfired on him). He says almost anything about police violence, immigration, etc. he loses more immigrants and ethnic minorities.

I'm wondering if they will be giving him Ritalin or Adderall to try to calm him down and help him focus. if he doesn't take it often, it may backfire. We could have zombie Trumpy.

I wonder if Hilly will be on her anti seizure medication. Let's hope she doesn't fall off the stage.

It was a microbrewery and I'm not a beer drinker--they didn't have anything BUT beer so I drank diet coke. But the crowd was lively and animated, and we all agreed with the overwhelming majority of post-debate polls and media buzz that Clinton won the debate and that Trump showed himself unqualified in temperament, preparedness, knowledge, and policies to be president.

I judged high school debates a few times back in the day--and Trump's was, by far, the worst debate performance I have ever seen--the narcissism, bragging, defensiveness, bigotry--ugh!

Admitting he didn't pay taxes and saying it was "smart?" Hey, Trump, if you don't have skin in the game, you don't get to play--much less LEAD!

I am not familiar with the physical symptoms or behavior of people on cocaine, so I will not comment on media speculation that Trump was coked up.
