The United States Department of Justice has dropped its support for a lawsuit against Tennessee’s ban on trans procedures for minors that is before the U.S. Supreme Court.

The Trump administration informed the Supreme Court on Friday that the government is no longer supporting the plaintiffs challenging the law in the case of United States v. Skrmetti.

“The government’s previously stated views no longer represent the United States’ position,” stated Curtis E. Gannon, a deputy solicitor general, in a letter to the high courton Friday.

The ACLU will be inundated with cases of discrimination and injustice just from the actions of the first three weeks! And now we have a Department of Justice that will be siding with the Supreme Court.

That's what happens when the checks and balances in the Constitution are completely subverted--while 49.9% of the population is unconcerned and unaware (although they will scream the loudest when they are the victims.)

You seem upset. Are you not happy that trans procedures for kids are banned in Tennessee?

I am sad the DOJ does not defend individual plaintiffs deprived of their freedoms.

I think it’s wise to wait till they are adults to have irreversible surgeries done.
