Those who get visions and dreams from God

hey i just feel like i need to express myself about people here who try to get others to intepret them, look the only way to truly understand a dream or vision is to let God develop it in your life, sometimes God gives us only bits of the puzzle but when God continues to work in your life he begins to slowly develop it into the whole picture. you know you wont see the whole picture until the puzzles are laid out, put together and are complete so you shouldnt be asking people to help you understand something when God shows it to you in a way he doesnt want you to understand it yet. and besides those people dont know, most of them will criticize you and tell you its unbiblical anyway which in all fairness is really absurd ..i mean just because God reveals a vision to someone that isny openly displayed doesnt mean its really unbiblical because you dont see it there , sometimes these things are in the bible, you cant see it because God doesnt want you to see it or maybe you cant see it because you rely on other peoples intepretation of scriptures so you go along what is common and told. and what makes sense to you. But sense Gods ways are higher them ours we have to realize sometimes the way God works will be misunderstood. and just because a vision isnt openly displayed in the bible doesnt mean the vision isnt in Gods heart. Sometimes the most precious and dear things are hidden in a mans heart. His most prized possesion doesnt have to be gifted in displayed in this world because he protects it by hiding it and since its valuable to him he keeps it where most things are hidden, in a persons heart. And i know thats where i keep the things i treasure most there, in my heart. A vision is also a private interpretation and glimpse of your life and the things he had planned for you in your future so most stuff should be kept silent because if God wanted others to know he would have revealed it to them but since he doesnt, it means the vision and dream is only meant for you and should be kept between you and God. People will only confuse us and throw us off track and unless God gave them a glimpse into your vision future and life, they really dont know what they are talking about. And God doesnt want to confuse people. The matter of the truth is just because God hasnt openly revealed it in the bible doesnt mean it isnt from God, the only thing that makes it unbiblical is the fact that it isnt in the bible because maybe God has developed and is creating a plan to reveal it to others and the world in a bigger and more better way when he feels the needs to and when he is ready too..so like i said if you want to know if a vision or dream is truly from God, the only thing you can do is wait for it to come to pass and if it doesnt then you'll know it wasnt really from God...ha

and another thing sometimes God dont send everyone visions and dreams but because who God is and how he works, sometimes he just throws miracles in our lives unexpectedly that completely changes our lives. *shrug

Sometimes dreams can be a warning sign of things that are about to come into your life that you need to be prepared for or protected against. Dreams can be a sign of certain people that you need to pray for because there is internment danger approaching them. Visions from God are signs of things that are going to come upon this earth or a Heavenly encounter with purpose behind it. Messiah Yeshua - Jesus gave my wife dreams on four different occasions that took our lives off in very different directions. I personally did not understand her convictions until weeks or even months later..... but she was guided accurately each time.

i dont know, maybe you do have a point but i do know people are corrupted and decieving and that most of them will throw people into turmoil and confusion, which will make the whole situation worst.. this is one of the reasons why the world is dividded, people claiming to possess gifts and have the holy spirit when all they do is throw people out of alignment with God and teach people things and do things that doesnt make sense and in reality is unsound. Haha in the past ive read things online trying to find answers to my visions etc. it has lead me into complete confusion and drove me up the wall.. and i know when God is silent and you really want to understand the truth, sometimes it gives you no choice bu to find it and other things and people but we shouldnt do that because unless God truly sent them people cant be trusted and relied on...and that verse you gave me, you need to explain to me how that is relevant to what i am trying to point out here..haha in.my eyes i dont see that verse having anything to do with what i am talking about unless you can truly explain to me because right now i am confused.

Dream interpretation falls under the gift of prophesy....such as Daniel interpreting Nebechennezer's dream.....it was prophetic.

Anyone who claims they can interpret a dream is involved in new age practices. If God gives a Spirit filled Christian a dream they will be able to interpret it themselves and they will know how to discern if it came from Him. God explains that dreams-visions and prophesy are three separate gifts from the Holy Spirit. None of these gifts say "interpretation of dreams". The only interpreter would be someone who can translate "tongues" one language to another.

Joel 2;28 "And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, and your young men shall see visions."

Today God speaks directly to us so there is no need to have a middle person
interpreting what He has to say.

John 15:15 Jesus says, "No longer do I call you servants, for the servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all that I have heard from my Father I have made known to you."

One more thing of note, I believe all the dreams and visions given to the Apostles in the New Testament were clear to them and no interpreter was needed.

So referring to Joel 2:28.....old men dream, young men see visions.....for what purpose? Is there significance to that dream and vision? Did it come from God? Are they revealing something past, present or future? If the one having the dream or vision does not understand it or have the interpretation of it who do they go to for clarification or confirmation?.....


Referring to John 15:15....Jesus speaking about all that I have heard I have made known to you.....but.....did Jesus also say to the disciples many more things I would give you but you cannot bear.....

Scripture also tells us:

Now there is a member on this forum who God uses to interpret dreams....and he has interpreted many dreams for other members here accurately....he is taking a break for now for in depth studies....

In any case.....God is the same God yesterday, today and forever and He doesn't change.....So if I have a dream that I do not understand I will share it with someone I know has the anointing to interpret.

I wonder if Messiah Yeshua - Jesus gives some of his servants dreams...... in order to force them to draw closer so that they can be shown the meaning of the dream?


Daniel 8:15

¶And it came to pass, when I, even I Daniel, had seen the vision, and sought for the meaning, then, behold, there stood before me as the appearance of a man."

I assume that if they are too busy to draw closer..... they may not understand what it means.

Dennis-Tate-As you know we all dream. Some more than others, myself, I have unbelievable dreams every night! However, I would not give anyone the task of telling me what my dream meant. It is a slippery slope. But to your point. There are many unbelievers especially Muslim's who have dreams and visions about Jesus. They wake up, and become believers! That is a dream from God! Amen!

None of them needed an interpreter. I really enjoyed this testimony.
