They will mingle with the seeds of men. Who are they?

The Bible tells us this final kingdom on earth will not be just a human kingdom. In Daniel Chapter 2, it describes this final kingdom.

40 And the fourth kingdom shall be strong as iron: forasmuch as iron breaketh in pieces and subdueth all things: and as iron that breaketh all these, shall it break in pieces and bruise.

41 And whereas thou sawest the feet and toes, part of potters' clay, and part of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; but there shall be in it of the strength of the iron, forasmuch as thou sawest the iron mixed with miry clay.

42 And as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken.

43 And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay.

Again, THEY SHALL MINGLE THEMSELVES WITH THE SEED OF MEN. WHO ARE THEY?

I believe "they" are the fallen sons of God from the days of Noah that are in the bottomless pit. The Bible tells us that their leader or the antichrist will ascend out of the bottomless pit in Revelation 17.

8 The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.

The Bible tells us this in Matthew 24:

37 But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,

39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

What happened in the days of Noah in Genesis Chapter 6? THEY MINGLED WITH THE SEEDS OF MEN.

4 There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.

I think this points to a couple of things.

First, I think this about the Second Coming when Jesus will set up his Millennial Kingdom on earth. Matthew 24 says as in the days of Noah so will His Return be. Daniel 2 says this:

44 And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.

45 Forasmuch as thou sawest that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God hath made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter: and the dream is certain, and the interpretation thereof sure.

So in the days of this final kingdom, Jesus will Return, defeat them and set up His Kingdom.

Secondly, I believe this final kingdom will be one that will be partly supernatural with all sorts of lying signs and wonders.

Either "they" will rule alongside earthly governments or "they" will inhabit the bodies of leaders in governments and religion. Either way, it will be a time where what we call supernatural will be apart of everday life on earth.

4 For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;

5 And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly;

6 And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly;

7 And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked:

8 (For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds)

9 The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:

So, Romans 11 tells us when the fallen sons of God will appear on earth.

25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.

Some believe this is the end of the Church age and will begin the 7 year tribulation. The Bible tells us in 2 Thessalonians Chapter 2 this is when the Holy Spirit or the Restrainer or What Withholdeth is taken away and the lawless one is revealed.

3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

5 Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?

6 And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.

7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.

8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

So this period is where "they" will be on earth one last time before going to perdition.

I agree. I have said repeatedly that the man of sin will be a transhuman hybrid. The technology is available for the post human age. We see a glimpse with the trend toward trans gender agenda.

That's interesting; NIV had something about being "a mixed people" which I always thought meant multi-cultural races in the same country. But KJV and Douay-Rheims are both using "mingling with the seed of men".

They are hybrid. Part man and part something other than man.

The fourth kingdom hasn't yet arisen. We have no historical example of iron and clay combining together to form one kingdom or empire. Clay represents a government of natural man without religious or spiritual beliefs. Think of communist China, North Korea, etc. Iron represents a government integrated with and supporting a strong religious belief system - for example, Turkey or Iran.

In order to eliminate the differences between the people of clay and the people of iron, they will attempt to create a hybrid race using the DNA of both the clay and iron races. This will fail because the DNA won't be compatible enough to mix or integrate successfully as wanted. It will always tend toward either clay or iron. A clearer interpretation would be to substitute the word "using" for "with" in "they shall mingle themselves with (using) the seed of men." The seed of men is their reproductive DNA or sperm, in the bible.

Today scientists are heavily engaged in genetic engineering with a full spectrum of microbes, plants and animals. It wouldn't be unrealistic to expect the same applied to human beings in the future, turning science fiction into science fact. Throw in the activity of aliens also working with human DNA and you get a realistic idea of what to expect in the future.

Interesting scenario, and I can see how you arrived at it, and who knows? It may be so.

But on the other hand, I don’t see prophesy saying that giants and nephilim showing up a third time during the tribulation - and I think that when Jesus referenced it being as the days of Noah, He meant that just as they were oblivious to what was coming upon them before the flood, and carried on business as usual, such as getting married, etc. - that they will also be oblivious of the wrath of God that will come upon the earth.

Ecc. 1:9 The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.

This is a spiritual and moral truth of the Old Testament, not a technological truth - we have no reason to believe the people of Noah's time used cell phones, automobiles, TV or the internet. But they were people not very different from ourselves living under Old Testament conditions.

In any event, we can't take this verse of Solomon too rigorously because it is contradicted by Jeremiah 31:22:
"...for the Lord hath created a new thing in the earth: a woman shall compass a man." This refers to the birth a Christ from a virgin. Parthenogenesis (birth without a male contribution) can only produce a female.

Christ himself claims to be greater than Solomon in Matt 12:42. So, the Wisdom of Solomon, good enough before the birth of Christianity, is insufficient for Christianity and the Last Days we live in. No one goes to Solomon to solve Christian problems, they go to Christ.

The book of Ecclesiastes by Solomon describes the state of humanity independently of the divine influence of the Deity or God. Man, as such, has no reason to depart from his basic characteristics, and thus there is no new human behavior under the sun. The same would be true of other species such as dogs or monkeys.
So we see historical repeats in a seemingly cyclical manner in human history, but with a slow slide toward depravity and extinction due to accumulated sins, crimes, errors and imperfections which would eventually kill off the species, if not for divine intervention. Solomon is right about humanity in its fallen state.

But it is the influence and intervention of God in human affairs that makes human progress possible. The thing is, God does not repeat Himself. He is beyond all temporal cycles, and not subject to historical repetitions of events. All interventions of God in human history are new, not seen in identical terms from the past. So, in Christ we have the new God-man, and are able to put on the new man of Eph 2:15 and 4:24.

In Scripture, God has compared the clay with men, Romans 9:20-21. The iron represents the Spirit of Satan as he seeks to destroy the kingdom of God. When Satan comes out of bottomless pit, Verse 43 is telling us that he now works through the false prophets and christs within the congregation of Israel, the Church which is not partly strong and partly broken. They are the ones with the spirit of antichrist that brings falsehoods and lying signs and wonders to weaken God's congregation.

Sooo? I wonder why the Lord Jesus referred back to the days of Noah referring to the last days. He essentially said what has been will be again. In effect....same thing Solomon said. And for what people were doing, marrying etc. Marrying what, eating what, drinking what? What was business as usual? It is hard for Christians to imagine how remarkably evil the days of Noah were! It was so evil that all of the thoughts, never mind the deeds, were evil continually. What is coming is far worse than anything we are seeing today.

45 Forasmuch as thou sawest that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God hath made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter: and the dream is certain, and the interpretation thereof sure.

So in the days of this final kingdom, Jesus will Return, defeat them and set up His Kingdom.

Secondly, I believe this final kingdom will be one that will be partly supernatural with all sorts of lying signs and wonders.

Either "they" will rule alongside earthly governments or "they" will inhabit the bodies of leaders in governments and religion. Either way, it will be a time where what we call supernatural will be apart of everday life on earth.

2 Peter Chapter 2 tells us.

4 For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;

5 And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly;

6 And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly;

7 And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked:

8 (For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds)

9 The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:

So, Romans 11 tells us when the fallen sons of God will appear on earth.

25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.

Some believe this is the end of the Church age and will begin the 7 year tribulation. The Bible tells us in 2 Thessalonians Chapter 2 this is when the Holy Spirit or the Restrainer or What Withholdeth is taken away and the lawless one is revealed.

3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

5 Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?

6 And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.

7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.

8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

So this period is where "they" will be on earth one last time before going to perdition.

The sons of God i.e sons and daughters from Seth's line marrying the daughters of men i.e the daughters from Cain's line.

There is a lot to suggest that the other interpretation of Genesis is false. But enough scholars have produced works and videos on each interpretation for me to know that you won't agree with me on what it looks like when I say "in the likeness of the type, so will be the antitype", because you've basically said the same thing yourself in your post already, but you believe it's referring to a mixture of humans with half demons/humans, whereas I do not.
