Did anyone see this film?

It's a German movie (based on a true story), so unless ya speak it you'll have to read it. It's really good, watched it last night. A Luxembourg priest is released from Dachau for nine days while the Gestapo attempts to use him to get the Luxembourg Bishop to capitulate to the German occupiers and embrace the Nazis. Terrific story of faith and sacrifice.

:thumbsup::thumbsup:

I was just wandering through Blockbuster and found in on the New Release shelf (though it had was a 2004 movie). I watch most movies via subtitles anyhow (wife says I play the tv too loud but I don't think I going deaf...huh?) so that it was a foreign film didn't bother me. And I had read Christ in Dachau which was written by a priest at same concentration camp (wonder if they knew each other?) earlier this year.

I am humbled by the witness of the priests there. It is interesting, in the movie the priest explains to his family that the priests get a little more leniency (extra food) so that the others in the camp will hate them more.

Great film, told my wife that it will be required viewing for our homeschooled son when he gets a little older (and can read the subtitles fast enough ;)).
