The movie "Prancer"

I've never visited this forum. Forgive me if this has been discussed before, but what do you think of the Christmas film "Prancer". I saw it for the first time two years ago. The first time I saw it I wasn't sure what to make of it; it seemed a bit awkward. With subsequent viewings I came to think it is brilliant and powerful - maybe almost the best Christmas movie ever made.

Prancer was my all time favorite Christmas movie as a kid. I still like it but not as much.
