I am new to this forum....
But I would like to share with you guys not only my favorite CHRISTIAN band, but my favorite band in general.
They are called "The Devil Wears Prada". You might be thinking....why did they choose that name?!? It comes from an anti-materialistic mindset as stated by vocalist Mike Hranica, instead of directly referring to the novel with the same title. If you listen to this band and say that there is no way they are Christians, and that it is "devil music"....then you are a hypocrite.
A quote from Mike Hranica (vocalist) : "It's the same concept as our lyrics 'emeralds hold no hope' and many many others. What we believe it to mean is that possessions don't matter at all and someday everyone will realize that this is true. When standing before God, he won't care about your sweet Prada scarf or Gucci shoes or whatever. It's a Christian reasoning for the name, we didn't name it to attempt at being fashionable."
