My original testimony to the committee, which was consistent in every interview and court appearance, highlighted that “The authorization came in beforehand. It was relayed to the appropriate officials in D.C. and the Capitol Police. It was declined, and we acted when their request finally came in on January 6,” and “Trump had authorized the deployment of 10,000 to 20,000 National Guard troops to support law enforcement in multiple meetings.”
Clear and direct.

I know that the liberals believe Kash Patel is a liar. However, can they prove that he lied with his testimony he gave under oath? I'm also curious what the liberals reactions here are going to be to the recorded videos of Nancy Pelosi where she accepted responsibility and accountability for her failure to make sure that there was more than enough National Guard security support on January 6th.

...by Kash Patel (liar)

(Lord help us if he ever has a position in government again)
You were there? Anthony Ornato, the guy in charge of Trump's security detail, also said that Trump authorized the National Guard. Both Patel and Omato could have just gone away and avoided smear campaigns, but they had the courage to speak out. Patel was clear that Trump approved DoD officials to communicate the offer with D.C. Mayor Bowser and Nancy Pelosi.

Clear and direct.

Trump and his defenders have repeatedly claimed that the violence at the Capitol two years ago would have been prevented if only his order for 10,000 troops had been heeded. We have explored this claim twice before and debunked it, each time awarding Four Pinocchios.
But now the Jan. 6 committee has released its report and dozens of transcribed interviews that provide new details on the meetings in which Trump claims he requested troops at the Capitol.
Trump, in his post, says he made a “recommendation for troops” and that then-House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) failed to act on it. But the evidence shows Trump did not issue any formal request — so there was nothing for Pelosi to heed. The committee report says it found “no evidence” to support the claim that he ordered 10,000 troops.
Moreover, the committee said that when he referenced so many troops, it was not because he wanted to protect the Capitol. He “floated the idea of having 10,000 National Guardsmen deployed to protect him and his supporters from any supposed threats by left-wing counterprotesters,” the report said.......

Jan. 4 meeting with Pierson

During a meeting with Katrina Pierson, who was organizing Trump’s rally on the Mall, the president expressed a desire to march with his supporters to the Capitol, she told investigators.
White House senior adviser Max Miller said he “shot it down immediately” because of concerns for Trump’s safety. Trump then suggested 10,000 National Guardsmen could protect him and his supporters — a figure that Pierson recorded. “I opened my folder and wrote down 10,000 National Guard, closed my folder again,” she recalled. (Miller did not recall the number.)
Miller replied: “We should only call the Guard if we expect a problem.”
Trump asked: “Well, are we going to expect a problem?”
After the meeting, Miller texted Pierson, “Just glad we killed the national guard and a procession.” Pierson responded with a heart emoji.
Read the last sentence. " “Just glad we killed the national guard and a procession.” That was from the Trump team.
The biggest revisionism is from Trump supporters.

BTW,

....“Could the president have picked up the phone, called the secretary of defense, and said, you know, ‘What’s going on here?’ Our law enforcement is getting overrun, make this happen!’” a committee staffer asked Brooks, according to the transcript of a previously unreported March 14 interview reviewed by POLITICO......
But Trump never called any military leaders on Jan. 6, per testimony from senior administration officials to the Jan. 6 select committee — a fact that the panel emphasized in its final report that concluded Trump was uniquely responsible for the violent Capitol attack by his supporters. Rather, he was observing the riot on TV and calling allies in his quest to subvert the 2020 election, as outlined by committee witnesses and White House records.

Trump failed to respond to the violence. It seems he wanted it. He is not fit to be president.

No surprise that 2 liberal sources such as Politico and the Washington Post have a liberal point of view about this topic.

No surprise that a Trump appointee is still spouting pro-Trump propaganda. He even rags on the “deep state.”

Only those unwilling to see the truth don't recognize that there is an administrative bureaucratic system in the Federal Government which is unaccountable to the American people.

Far, far more responsibility and accountability than I’ve ever heard the President of the United States take for what happened that day, and he caused it all. That’s what grownups do. They admit their mistakes, not blame everyone else for their own failures.

Again you don't really have anything to counter the points we make.

We have the testimony of three people that Trump offered National Guard troops--Trump's offer of National Guard troops has been corroborated, not debunked. You are citing the sham committee that Nancy Pelosi wanted, made up of members that would not require her to testify. We now have a video, for all to see, of her accepting responsibility.

When does the former President accept responsibility?

If Pelosi and others would have allowed the National Guard troops to be at the Congressional Capitol building, NONE of the protestors would have gotten into the building.

The protestors who were called out to DC by the former president who had lost the election and was trying to overturn the results, right? Those protestors?

Yes... those protestors who were told by Trump to peacefully and patriotically let their voices be heard.

Do you have any problems with the violent protestors supporting BLM or Hamas? I know that I do and I hope that y'all do as well.
