The Angel of the LORD appeared to Mary

The virgin's name was Mary' (Luke 1:26-27) We saw in a previous thread how the Angel appeared to Joseph and spoke of Mary bearing a Son to be called JESUS. Now Mary is put into the picture!

Just because Matthew mentions Joseph making a desicion over a pregnant Mary first, does not mean that this happened first.
As it says Mary was found to be with child i.e. she was visibe pregnant. If you ask your wife she'll confirm that ladies know they are pregnant long before they can be seen to be pregnant.
So it is reasonable to place Lukes account of the angel and Mary taking place before she had to tell him she was pregnant.

Yes and this happened before Joseph was told.
