Article IV, Section 4 of the United States Constitution gives the Federal Government the responsibility and authority to protect the country from an invasion.
“The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened) against domestic Violence.” Article IV, Section 4 of the US Constitution.

And Democrats are pushing for Garcia to be returned.

How is this connected to a father of three small children living here legally being kidnapped by ICE and sent to a torture prison?
It's completely irrelevant.
And the "smuggler" had one young man? It could be a cousin. I don't see "criminal mastermind" here.
A teen born here could be driving an older brother born elsewhere (now that DACA isn't accepting new applicants) to work. There are many mixed families. Will Young drivers be called smugglers for driving their moms to the grocery store?

One of these things is not like the others,
One of these things just doesn't belong,
Can you tell which thing is not like the others
By the time I finish my song?
Did you guess which thing was not like the others?
Did you guess which thing just doesn't belong?
If you guessed this one is not like the others,
Then you're absolutely...right!

I don’t see the relevance. What does Abrego Garcia have to do with this story?

Due process, Due process, Due process.
Every level of court has let it be known there is due process to be had given deportation.
If this individual is a gang affiliated terrorist as the Trump admin claims, then it should not be too hard to prove that.
Then off he goes.
It's really that simple.

As I understand it the issue is that there was an order not allowing him to be deported to his home country. The Justice Department may just agree to send him to another country if and when El Salvador releases him. That seems like the easiest solution. Recently it has been alleged that Van Hollen never coordinated his visit with the Trump administration. Negotiating with a foreign country without the permission of the administration is a violation of the law.

Traffiking immigrants across the border is not "an invasion".

It is not just about him. It's everyone being deported without due process.

It is about him. Judges are not asking for the rest of those sent to the prison, just him. He's also an example of how lenient the Biden administration was on human trafficking, he's caught with all of those guys in a car, and no luggage for workers on a three day trip was a very strong signal they were being trafficked. Also that they all said there address was his address. No valid drivers license, almost for sure they were not all wearing seat belts because there are not that many in a typical car, and the Biden administration says let him go. This guy has what, met with 17 judges? That's not going to be allowed to happen for 20 million people.

"US Supreme Court temporarily blocks deportations of Venezuelan migrants under wartime law"

It's the whole process itself regardless of the individual in question.

Honestly, I just don't get it. I don't have any problem what so ever with shipping those who are in fact MS-13 gang members out. With that said and just like every other president, you give them due process deportation hearings without the need of invoking any Alien's Act. If claims true, bye Felicia. If the past immigration bill was passed that would have created more immigration judges, Trump could have just set up FEMA trailers housing those judges and did what is tantamount to due process provided deportation speed dating. But no. They just have this penchant of ignoring laws, rules, and norms as in Trump fashion and long history; thinking laws don't apply to him. This is a man who said he would like to do the same "no due process ship them out" to actual US citizens. I really don't want to ask how you feel about that being leery of your answer.
