Casting Your Cares

Being a Christian does not make your problems go away. But you may choose to put all my burdens in the hands of the Father and let him take care of it completely; We need to trust the Lord to take care everything. The greatest problem is taking on a task that overtakes our strength when at first we think we can handle it but then at last we realize we can’t handle it at all.

1 Peter 5:7
Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.

Carrying your worries, stresses, and daily struggles by yourself shows that you have not trusted God fully with your life. Don’t submit to the circumstances but to the Lord, who controls circumstances.

Psalms 120:1

I took my troubles to the Lord; I cried out to him, and he answered my prayer.

Psalms 121:1-2

I look up to the mountains – does my help come from there? (2) My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth!

Psalms 121:5

The Lord himself watches over you! The Lord stands beside you as your protective shade.

Prayer:

Lord God I come before you today. Lord I admit that I have not completely put my faith and my trust in you with all of my problems. Lord I ask for your to forgive me of this, Lord. Lord in the name of Jesus by faith, Lord I say take all my problems, my troubles, and my pain. Lord, God I thank you for your Son Jesus who died for my sins. Help me to trust and to have more faith in you in Jesus name, Amen.

This is more like a Bible verses of Ezekiel, chapter 37, I believe this is a powerful Scripture and I hope you take something from it, I believe this can also be a good devotion on Revival.

Ezekiel 37:1-10
(Please watch the vid after you read this scripture.)

The Lord took hold of me, and I was carried away by the Spirit of the Lord to a valley filled with bones. He led me all around among the bones that covered the valley floor. They were scattered everywhere across the ground and were completely dried out. The he asked me, “Son of man, can these bones become living people again?” “O Sovereign Lord,” I replied, “you alone know the answer to that.”

Then he said to me, “Speak a prophetic message to these bones and say, ‘Dry bones, listen to the word of the Lord! This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Look! I am going to put breath into you and make you live again! I will put flesh and muscles on you and cover you with skin. I will put breath into you, and you will come to life. Then you will know that I am the Lord.’”

So I spoke this message, just as he told me. Suddenly as I spoke, there was a rattling noise all across the valley. The bones of each body came together and attached themselves as complete skeletons. Then as I watched, muscles and flesh formed over the bones. Then skin formed to cover their bodies, but they still had no breath in them.

Then he said to me, “Speak a prophetic message to the winds, son of man. Speak a prophetic message and say, ‘this is what the Sovereign Lord says: Come, O breath, from the four winds! Breathe into these dead bodies so they may live again.’”

So I spoke the message as he commanded me, and breath came into their bodies. They all came to life and stood up on their feet – a great army.

Genesis 4:7

You will be accepted if you do what is right. But if you refuse to do what is right, then watch out! Sin is crouching at the door, eager to control you. But you must subdue it and be its master.

The time you initial temptation and the chosen response is critical. You must choose immediately to take authority over a temptation when the temptation comes, the longer you wait the more likely you will fall into this temptation.

Temptation comes unexpectedly, the reason why it comes unexpectedly is to catch you off guard and get you to sin.

Also remember we must resist the Devil but we alone can't do it if you leave God out, most likely you will fail. When we have thoughts aka temptation in our head, we need to go immediately to Jesus, he has more strength then we can ever imagine.

Prayer:

Father in the name of Jesus we come to you as your children Lord. We ask that you will forgive us of our sins Lord. Lord help us to resist temptation and help us to do it immediately with your help and not resist temptation on our own. Satan in the name of Jesus, we bind you in the name of Jesus against all temptation you have no right in our lives. Satan you must submit at the name of Jesus and you will submit Satan. Thank you Lord for everything in Jesus name, Amen.

Relationship (knowing, loving and trusting God) You will experience the Presence of God, know Him better. We have to learn to trust God with everything after all we are His creation and He is the author and finisher of our lives.

-Won’t make you weary

-Restore your strength

-Energize your life

-Studying the Word (note Study) not just Reading the
Bible. When you study the Word of God you are learning how to live your life. Whatever you are going through the answer is in the Bible you have to find out where and study it and live it. The Bible is a guide to help us through this life because the Bible is inspired by God and teaches us how to live.

-Worship: By worship we declare that God is Holy and he deserves everything that we are because of what He has done in our lives and what He will continue to do

-Experience God at church when the Pastor is preaching or during worship, the Lord will move if you let Him


Religion (set of rules, traditions, rituals or practices, habits to practice) sorry to say I rather have relationship with Jesus Christ because. When you believe in Jesus Christ for the first time in your life and you truly believe in Him. His Spirit resides in you and you are no longer the Son of the Father of Lies but you are a Child of God his son or daughter, he will transform your life. Yes we will struggle with temptation but the Holy Spirit convicts us of that and we know that the sin is not of God and we want to change and if you give God every area of your life and submit to Him. We are not perfect but we should strive to be like Jesus. We should be a living sacrifice for The King of Kings and The Lord of Lords. As for myself I want to live for Him because of what He has done for me.

-Drains you of your energy (habits, practices; sound familiar)

-Reading the Bible (just reading the Bible out of Habit)

-Worship (lip singing but where is your heart)

-Church (your in church now opps hold on your thinking about
what you have to do this week or what are you going to eat after church or how is your sweetheart doing or maybe you are only there because of tradition or maybe out of habit or maybe to talk business)

Let me ask you a question which one are you? Are you a religious person or are you real and love God with all your soul, your mind, and your strength.

When have you seen people actually worship G-d for who he is without looking around?

Churchs today are quite funny to see. You see the pastor wondering why his church sucks. Then you look at his life. Or you see people smoking in the parking lots then raising there hands saying "Oh I am redemmed, I feel changed" ha then they go to the local bar or somewhere else. All the good churchs have done is brought people down. Why be part of a hypocritical assembly?
