Peace in Christ.
The Lord comes to open up the Scriptures in the voice of the Spirit of God sent from Heaven to our hearing ears and we are to take heed on how we hear as more (knowledge) shall be given.
Man must not rail at what he hears so that he will be given it. If he does not have faith in it, then what he thought he had will be taken from him. He will not be able then to believe in what he hears....faith will be taken away from him.
Whosoever has faith (by manifesting it outwardly by our good works) in the hearing of His voice, His revealed knowledge shall be given to them and will be able to enter in to know all of His knowledge.
Luke 8:18-21 KJV
(18) Take heed therefore how ye hear: for whosoever hath, to him shall be given; and whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he seemeth to have.
We cannot enter in to His knowledge when we speak multiple words of unbelief (the “press”…the multitude) against the hearing of His words. Like His mother and His brothers, we can not come to Him because of the multiple number of words spoken at the hearing of His voice.
(19) Then came to him his mother and his brethren, and could not come at him for the press.
They “stood without”. Outside His knowledge will be those who can not come to Him because of the multiple of unbelieving words (the “press”).
(20) And it was told him by certain which said, Thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring to see thee.
Only those who will hear the true Word of God and will keep His commandments shall be able to enter in to understand the full knowledge of God….the “true sayings of God”.
(21) And he answered and said unto them, My mother and my brethren are these which hear the word of God, and do it.
Scripture must be God-breathed to be profitable…..in other words, interpreted by the Spirit of God. We then are made complete by the good works that are done towards the hearing of His interpretation of them in the Spirit of God.
2Ti 3:16-17 KJV
(16) All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
(17) That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works
The word of men that preaches the Scriptures in his own earthly understanding is not profitable. They wrest the Scriptures to their own destruction.
He begets us with the Word of Truth (vs the “word of men” that is being preached by those who do not have the Spirit).
We are to be “swift to hear” and slow to speak, slow to wrath.
Jas 1:18-20 KJV
(18) Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.
(19) Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:
(20) For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.
When He opens His mouth to teach us ….interpreting the Scriptures from Heaven (the “mountain” that He sits in for judgment)…blessed (HAPPY) are those who are poor in “spirit”…that is, poor in breath….as they will keep their words few. They will be able to enter in to know the mysteries of the kingdom. They will be able to REJOICE in what they hear. Happy are the poor in spirit....poor in words spoken by their breath.
Mat 5:1-3 KJV
(1) And seeing the multitudes, he went up into a mountain: and when he was set, his disciples came unto him:
(2) And he opened his mouth, and taught them, saying,
(3) Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Yet, there will be many who will not keep their mouths shut at the hearing of His voice from Heaven.
The “sacrifice of fools” are those who will speak a multitude of words against what they hear rather than be ready to hear. A fool’s voice is known by the multitude of his words in contention of what he hears.
Ecc 5:1-3 KJV
(1) Keep thy foot when thou goest to the house of God, and be more ready to hear, than to give the sacrifice of fools: for they consider not that they do evil.
(2) Be not rash with thy mouth, and let not thine heart be hasty to utter any thing before God: for God is in heaven, and thou upon earth: therefore let thy words be few.
(3) For a dream cometh through the multitude of business; and a fool's voice is known by multitude of words.
They will not bridle their tongue but will speak out with many words and will say to the messenger sent out by Him to speak His words to them that what he preaches is an “error”.
Ecc 5:6-7 KJV
(6) Suffer not thy mouth to cause thy flesh to sin; neither say thou before the angel, that it was an error: wherefore should God be angry at thy voice, and destroy the work of thine hands?
But we are counseled to FEAR GOD. Fearing God is to keep His commandments. Those who do His commandments (which is manifesting their faith in Him) will be able to enter in to His knowledge. More shall be given to them.
(7) For in the multitude of dreams and many words there are also divers vanities: but fear thou God.
He that will keep his mouth, keeps his life. But he that opens up wide his lips shall have destruction.
Pro 13:3-4 KJV
(3) He that keepeth his mouth keepeth his life: but he that openeth wide his lips shall have destruction.
The soul of the sluggard (those who will be slack in doing His commandments) will have nothing. They will not have His knowledge as even what he thought he had will be removed from him.
Yet, the diligent will be made fat as they will be able to eat of the meat of the Word of Truth.
(4) The soul of the sluggard desireth, and hath nothing: but the soul of the diligent shall be made fat.
A wise man will hear His voice …..and more knowledge shall be given (increase learning). A man of understanding will attain wise counsels. They will be able to understand the parables….the interpretation of them by His opening up of the Scriptures to their hearing ears (and closed mouths). They will be able to enter in to His knowledge as He shall reveal to them all of the mysteries of the kingdom via the interpretation of the Scriptures.
Pro 1:5-7 KJV
(5) A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels:
(6) To understand a proverb, and the interpretation; the words of the wise, and their dark sayings.
The fear of the LORD is the BEGINNING of knowledge. We are to fear Him and keep His commandments.
But fools will despise what they hear. They will not keep their mouths shut and will shun doing His commandments. They will not enter into His knowledge but will be “without”…outside of it.
(7) The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.
Many will seek to defend their church handwritings of church ordinances in the face of hearing the Spirit of Truth. They will speak multiple words against what they hear.
They will seek to defend their “own righteousness” as dictated by the keeping of their church teachings and commandments of men.
But as Saul/Paul, we are to lose those things for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus the Lord.
Paul did not go about defending his “own righteousness” which was of the law (for him). Instead, he did lose those things and was found of Him having faith…believing what He heard Christ saying in the revelation. He was not disobedient towards the heavenly Voice.
Likewise, we are to lose our own religious things and not go about seeking to defend our own righteousness which is by the church handwritings of ordinances. His thoughts and ways are higher than our own religious thoughts (of what we thought was biblically true) and ways.
Php 3:8-11 KJV
(8) Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,
(9) And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:
(10) That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;
(11) If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.
The church who is found having brotherly love (the meaning of “Philadelphia”) towards those messengers that are sent out by Him will hear His voice and will keep their mouths shut towards the hearing of the open mouth that preaches the Word of Truth.
They will hear His words of the Holy One spoken in the Spirit by His messenger and know that they are TRUE: “these things that He says is holy and He is true”.
That will be their thoughts written within the hearts of the church in Philadelphia when they will hear His interpretation of the Scriptures.
Rev 3:7-8 KJV
(7) And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth;
They will hear the open door of utterance before their hearing ears that no man can shut and will use “little strength” in their response. They will speak few words….being poor in “spirit” ….in their breath. We use our breath to speak words. They will keep His word that they will hear and will not deny His name….His authority…as they will have brotherly love as He commanded us to do.
(8) I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.
He shall sprinkle many with the Word of Truth….and “kings” shall shut their mouths at Him when they will hear His words. What they had not been told before they shall see….to discern. What they have not heard before they shall consider.
Isa 52:15 KJV
(15) So shall he sprinkle many nations; the kings shall shut their mouths at him: for that which had not been told them shall they see; and that which they had not heard shall they consider.
Let brotherly love continue. Do not forget to entertain strangers….be hospitable towards strangers…as some will be entertaining His messengers sent out by Him to speak His words.
Heb 13:1-2 KJV
(1) Let brotherly love continue.
(2) Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.
All that are in their “graves” will hear His voice as He comes to interpret the Scriptures in the heavenly knowledge of God.
We are currently “dead” in trespasses and sins in the “churches” of men who fight and war with each other over their respective “interpretations” and commandments of men as written in their church handwritings of ordinances (dogmas).
His interpretation is the “true sayings of God” in contrast to the “word of men” who preach their “private interpretations” of the Bible. Let God be true and every man a liar when it comes to hearing His interpretation of the Scriptures.
When we hear His revelation of the Word of Truth, we must not go about seeking to defend our own “righteousness” which is done by the keeping of our church handwritings of ordinances.
This then will be the time of our judgment depending on how we respond to the hearing of His voice.
Those who hear His Word and BELIEVE on Him will stand up to everlasting life. Believing is DOING His will towards the hearing of His voice. Believing is manifesting our faith outwardly by doing good towards the hearing of His voice. We shall come forth....either manifesting our faith with outward good works....or come forth with evil deeds and be judged. As He hears, He judges us in response to the hearing of His voice that will interpret the Scriptures in our hearing ears.
Joh 5:24-29 KJV
(24) Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.
(25) Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.
(26) For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself;
(27) And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man.
(28) Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,
(29) And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.
We must manifest our faith in Him by the “good works” that we shall do towards the hearing of His voice in the Spirit. We are to hear what the Spirit says to the churches….the called out…and show forth our faith in Him.
We are to respond to the hearing of His voice: “these things that He says” He says in the fullness of the Spirit of God (the 7 Spirits of God). He sends out His messengers (He has the 7 stars) to the churches…the called out.
Yet, many will deny His name….His authority…as they will not believe in what they hear His messengers say in the Spirit of Truth.
We will be judged by our “works”. We must manifest our faith outwardly towards those messengers sent out by Him to speak His words in the Spirit of Truth. Let brotherly love continue.
The “dead” church does not manifest their faith through their good works…but they are counseled to do so. The wrath of man does not WORK the righteousness of God.
Their works are found not complete ("perfect”) by what they do towards the hearing of His voice as spoken through His messengers sent out to speak to them by Him.
Rev 3:1-2 KJV
(1) And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead.
We are to be “watchful”…that is, to wake up…to doing His righteousness which manifests our faith.
(2) Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God.
Our good works done toward the hearing of His voice completes our faith . Our works are made compete before God
Jas 2:22 KJV
(22) Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?
But we are a “dead” church if we do not manifest our faith in our good works toward the hearing of His voice.
Jas 2:19-20 KJV
(19) Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.
(20) But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?
The Lord comes to open up the Scriptures in the voice of the Spirit of God sent from Heaven to our hearing ears and we are to take heed on how we hear as more (knowledge) shall be given.
