Repent & confess every sin?
Jesus added thoughts to the law (Matt 5:28). So, this notion we must confess & ask forgiveness for every sin isn't possible & shows a lack of faith.
When the Holy Spirit reveals a sin, of course we should change direction/repent. Not begging for forgiveness, but, thanking/praising God for the forgiveness already provided. Found in Christ's Once for all time sinless perpetually cleansing God-blood sacrifice we've been washed with.
Acts 20:21 Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.
(MY NOTE: The key to this verse is found in the article "TOWARD". Repentance TOWARD God & faith TOWARD Christ)
Jn 12:22 And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw """all""" men unto me.
(MY NOTE: Jesus was in fact lifted up on a cross & lifted/resurrected from the grave & will draw ALL to Himself)
Jn 16:
7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.
8 And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:
(MY NOTE: The Holy Spirit will reprove/expose/convict everyone of, sins? NO of "SIN" singular.)
9 Of sin, because they believe not on me;
(MY NOTE: The only SIN that condemns one to eternal separation/damnation is UNBELIEF/rejecting Christ's sin atoning sacrifice & resurrection until life's end. Faith in Jesus sin payment & resurrection takes away/removes every other sin)
Ok, we've all have broken God's law (Rom 3:23). No one can say he is not a sinner until some means is provided (not to take away the law) but to remove the sin, which is the transgression of the law. Faith placed in Jesus sin payment & resurrection takes away/removes (Jn 1:29) ALL our sin. Once our sins have been removed, there is no transgression of the law.
1 Cor 15
55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
(MY NOTE: Jesus blotted out the sin ordinances invoked in Mosaic law [Deut 28] for every believer & nailed them to His cross [Col 2:14]
Jn 8:24 Jesus said; ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.
