15 March 2025 – Indonesia​

Pray for a house church group in Bekasi, who recently had their Sunday service stopped by an angry neighbour. Praise God that shortly afterwards an apology was offered. However, this is not an isolated incident on Java, and as a result the church has been forced to move to another venue.

Thank God for the way families are being impacted by our partners’ ministries in Egypt. The practical care they offer has helped improve people’s perspective of God, especially their view of Him as a caring father.

Pray for Release International partners in Egypt who face many pressures as they serve the church and reach out to others with the gospel. Some have faced direct threats. Pray for protection and wisdom in responding to this opposition.

Thank God that priests are reporting an increase in church attendance in the locations where the Strength to Stand groups are running. Pray that they will be able to meet the demand from the men in their churches who are envious of the Bible teaching their wives are receiving.

10 March 2025 – Egypt​

Thank God for the ministry of the Strength to Stand groups working with women in Egypt. Many participants find themselves without hope because of poverty and other issues, but find strength through the programme to stand firm in their faith.

09 March 2025 – Egypt​

Thank God that many Sudanese who find themselves displaced in Egypt are coming to know Christ. Pray they will grow in their new faith as they seek to rebuild their lives as refugees.
