Back in September, Tim's new book "The Case for Patriarchy" dropped and in the time since he's been promoting his wife Stephanie's companion book "Ask Your Husband" from TAN Books. Both books address the problem of feminism from different perspectives, with her book addressing women directly (since scripture is clear that women are not to teach and instruct men).

One of the most important takeaways, I think, from both texts is that most of us don't even realize how feminism has permeated our own language and behavior despite perhaps even having a conscience set against feminism. Both books reveal the ways that our speech and actions are actually falling in line with feminist theory and feeding that ugly machine.

This is a long episode, but I think their discussion is important and I would also recommend women check out her book available here. I pre-ordered a copy for my fiancee back in November and it's due to arrive any day now.

This is an issue I’ve found difficult to understand for a while. Thanks for posting this

That's interesting.
How does that square with having female Lectors, or the Late Mother Angelica's tv show, or the Virgin Mary's life and her visitations?

Good question, I can't answer all of it because I'm still learning myself. But I recall the argument explaining the Blessed Mother is that she didn't dare to teach while she was on Earth. However, her apparitions are a different thing because she's in heaven.

Stephanie Gordon has to ask Tim Gordon permission to leave the house and she can't say no to sex. They also don't believe that women should pursue an education and that men helping to clean the house is soft transgenderism. This reeks of Independent Fundamentalist Baptist over Catholicism.

I'll have been married for twenty-three years this coming weekend. My parents will be married fifty years this week, as well. All of my grandparents were married until the end too. Our marriages work because we aren't trying to play out Mad Men.

If even half of the things I've heard about what the Gordon's are pushing is real, then it's toxic garbage and unChrisitan. I lump the Pelosis and the Gordons of the world into the same category.
