A judge in New York has ruled that a pro-life group can engage in sidewalk counseling within 15 feet of abortion clinics and not be in violation of an earlier court order.

U.S. District Judge Kenneth M. Karas ruled from the bench on Monday that Red Rose Rescue could protest or offer counseling in close proximity to abortion clinics, rejecting a previous request by New York Attorney General Letitia James to ban the pro-life group's activities.

The Thomas More Society, which is helping to represent Red Rose Rescue, released a statement Wednesday celebrating the bench ruling that allows the pro-life group to demonstrate.

Good, Christians won't have to worry about getting arrested for praying that God help those women and the lives they are destroying.

Next hopefully it will be to get off the backs of Christian adoption agencies who foster out to traditional families only in keeping with their faith. But also giving kids a mum and dad which they vitally need.

IMO, that looks like some very harsh and sarcastic criticisms against good and honest Christians who live according to their beliefs and convictions.

"Good" and "honest"? How is harassing people going to a medical clinic "good"? Moreover, how is this justifiable given the fact such groups often serve as cover for domestic terrorists who seeks to do harm to clinics and staff (which isn't a theory, it's a fact, as numerous assassinations have shown over the years).

For those of us who are pro-life in the abortion debate, we don't consider it to be harassment to Respectfully attempt to persuade pregnant women about much better options than killing an unborn baby. Also, the huge and vast majority of pro-life people condemn any acts of violence upon the buildings and staff and patients in abortion centers.

Most pro-life people aren't terrorists. And many pro-life people do not see abortion as a medical practice, but the termination of precious life itself.

Exactly! I'm sure there has been countless women who are forever scarred by the sin of abortion, pro-life people just want to prevent that! Well said, brother!
