Praying to God for a message and waking up at 4:44

Greetings all, this is my first post on this forum and website. I've been praying these past two months and asking our Lord Jesus to send me a message and I've been woken up about 3-4 times at exactly, 4:44, only on the nights I pray for a message. Before I even turn to look at my clock on my phone, I can feel and somehow already know the time, but sometimes I think to myself "perhaps I am wrong" only to turn over my phone and see the time read 4:44. I'm amazed every time and I get excited and think to myself yes lord thank you! Yet, I fear I am being deceived by demons. I've experienced demonic activity in my house, including hearing a voice before, as have other individuals in my house. I stay stuck between wondering if I'm truly getting discernment from God or not, and I've searched for answers to understand what significance the number means. I've yet to understand this experience and would like to know anyone's thoughts on this. It should be said that I was involved with the occult because I practiced with tarot cards and was into astrology, and numerology as well. I feel that I'm targeted because of this but in growing closer to Jesus, I've given up all of these things. I'd appreciate anyone's feedback or even to hear of similar experiences. God bless.

Honestly, if you are doubting whether this is from God or not then I think you have good reason to believe that it is not. Also, considering you were involved in numerology before, I think you might be more inclined or even tempted to find meaning in numbers. It could very well be an evil spirit toying with you.

My advice is to test all of this against God's word. Open your Bible and read up on how God sends messages to people. Is he so vague that it is near impossible to decipher the meaning or does he speak plainly or explain His meaning (as Jesus did with parables) so that we can understand? Test what the Bible shows about God against the kinds of messages you believe you are receiving.

We can't know if it's from God or not, but it was in answer to prayer to God so here it goes: OK I'll attempt to decipher the numbers for you from a biblical standpoint, since I prayed and am good with numbers.

444 is 2/3 (two thirds) of 666. And 666 is the number of the beast in the book of Revelation: Revelation 13:18. From the book of Revelation, 2/3 are them that lived and 1/3 are them that died: Revelation 8:7-12.

Therefore if you prayed to God and He gave you a message, then it's save someone or some animal?

Well you would have to pray to God for an answer. But those are some pointers in the right direction I think.

And maybe the message was: "Save them that follow after the false prophet". Revelation 19:20

As a schizophrenic person i was awoken at random times throughout the night during psychotic spells. always at these type of times, 1:11, 2:22; 3:33; 4:44; 5:55; 10:10;11:11; 12:12. i thought then that it was very significant but in the end it was just my schizophrenic mind playing games with me. i've learned to understand that God talks very directly to us, through His word, and that it is best to only let Him speak through the truths of The Word for otherwise it leads to falsehoods.

I would say that the LORD is showing you that He is in control of your life by waking you at the same time. For when we rise up the LORD is there and when we lie down also. I don't believe there would be any special message in the numbers 4:44, but if there is, bonus.

As for hearing a voice, this can happen to any Christian, at any time, it is not a reflection of the poorness, nor strength of your faith. Demons are every where, even at times in our homes, don't fear, GOd is bigger than any demon.

One famous pastor even had the devil manifest to him in person when he was in bed, he turned over and went back to sleep saying "Oh it is only you Satan". Ignore the devil, focus on your salvation. Jesus said "don't rejoice that demons are subject to you, rejoice that your names are written in the book of life".
