Hi everyone,

I am seeking prayers for help in dealing with a difficult coworker. This individual has created trouble for myself and others before. Last week, my coworker, manager and I had a conflict come up with him; although he does not work in my department, this coworker came out to take two of my staff and send them to another department to help out without consulting with myself or anyone else. I was away when this situation came up but my coworker who dealt with him expressed outrage with him as this messed up the time frame of where our staff needed to be later in the day. My manager also became greatly frustrated about the situation and shouted at this coworker to go back to his office while this coworker continued to be difficult. I have to close with this coworker on Tuesday and am not thrilled about it. I'm praying that my department does not have any more issues with this coworker this week and that he keeps to himself. I'm also praying that if this person has difficulties or conflicts going on in their own lives, that they work it out without bring those issues to work with them.

Father, Proverbs 3:5-6; Proverbs 4:23; Proverbs 26:4-5, and Psalms 141:3 all come to mind. Ephesians 6:10-20 also could be applied. May this one not rely on their own strength in dealing with this co-worker, but apply the directions You give from Your word in this situation. Jesus dealt with a lot of difficult people when He walked this earth. May we learn from the example that He and other godly people give us in Your word when it comes to dealing with difficult people. Amen.
