Prayers for a coworker going through a hard time

Hi all,

I have a coworker that up until before Monday, I had what I thought was a good friendship with him. We hung out outside of work several times and were pretty close in confiding in one another and being pillars of support for one another. On Monday, he suddenly told me that he wanted to put boundaries between work and his personal life and that included not having any more contact with me outside of work. We talked again about it today and he's firm on this. Although my feelings are hurt by this, I am trying hard to respect what he wants. He also had some negative things to say about our job today too so I am not sure if he is dealing with some personal, unspoken hardships in his life or what all may be going on. I'm asking for prayers for him, that God stir his heart and be with him during what may be a difficult time. I'm also asking for prayers for me in being understanding and not being hurt by this so that we can continue to work well together in our department.

I pray that the Lord, with His grace, helps this man in whatever hardships he may facing, that His will be done. I pray that you stay strong knowing His love is always with you, that you don't stray from your path He has provided for you.

Praying for your co-worker and for you as well, that whatever your co-worker is going through, he not take it out on those that have been there for him.
