This is a thread where we can offer our prayers for the new Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby.

Heavenly Father, I ask that you give your strength and guidance to our new Archbishop, Justin Welby. I pray, Lord, that he is able to discern your truth and obey your will. I pray that he will be able to bring greater unity to the Anglican Communion. In Jesus name, Amen. :crossrc:

Almighty and everlasting God, from whom cometh every good and perfect gift: Send down upon Archbishop Justin Welby, and upon the congregations committed to his charge, the healthful Spirit of thy grace; and, that he may
truly please thee, pour upon him the continual dew of thy blessing. Grant this, O Lord, for the honor of our Advocate and Mediator, Jesus Christ. Amen.
