Hi Everyone 
I am a member of Locking Castle Church, which is situated in the town of Weston-super-Mare, UK. Those of you in the UK i'm sure know where i am talking about. We have been meeting as a church for about 11 years and only 3 years ago got a glorious church building through financial assistance from the Anglican and Methodist churches.
The church is in a very new residential housing estate with many residents being young families. However there is very little youth facilities in the estate for young people and we are hoping to make a big impact in proving that church is definitely the place to be
Anyway to help us get up to speed with the right equipment we are raising funds through hosting a bible readathon event at the church between the 23rd and 26th of August. Its a continuous event and we are hoping to have some of the books read in different languages using many different versions of the bible. Whats even more special is the whole event from start to finish is being broadcast on the net. While we are trying to raise funds for the church itself we recognise the wonderful work that is being done already in the town and so at the same time we are using the sponsorship to support the Street Pastors organisation and the CHAT (church about town) SHOP in weston town centre.

Dear Lord,
It is wonderful to see what incredible things are being achieved all around the world in your name. I pray that the people behind not just the readathon event in Locking Castle but similar events across the world will have vision, persistance and your guiding light to see it through. I pray that they do not lose sight of your purpose and that the readathon event will be able to speak to so many people and show your wonderful grace offered through your son Jesus Christ.
