Prayer before eating...

Everyone was seated around the table as the food was being served. When little Logan received his plate, he started eating right away.

"Logan, wait until we say our prayer," his mother reminded him.

"I don't have to," the little boy replied.

"Of course you do," his mother insisted, "we say a prayer before eating at our house."

"That's at our house," Logan explained, "but this is Grandma's house and she knows how to cook."

When I saw the title I thought it was going to be this joke.
There was a man alone in the wilderness and he saw a bear and he got scared.
The bear told him that he was a Christian.
And the man said that was great and he wasn't scared anymore.
Then the bear said, Let us pray.
And the bear prayed, I thank you LORD for this feast you have given me.

Reminds me of an old Beetle Bailey comic I saw...let's see how well I remember it!

Beetle and Cookie (a private & the chef) are looking at someone off-panel. Beetle says, "The chaplain's about to eat. He's saying grace." Cookie says, "Now he's looking at his food." Beetle: "Now he's saying grace again!" Cookie: "I didn't think it was that bad!"
