Pray for the end of gory Halloween stuff, and for the end of demonic practices

Hello folks. Halloween used to be a somewhat innocent holiday where folks dressed up in cool costumes such as space suits, or job professions back in the 2000s. Now, in the 2020s, it has become a demonic holiday with movies about witchcraft, and slasher films with realistic CGI and blood.

Pray for the end of this demonic practice, and for a return of Halloween as an innocent holiday, and a holiday that respects the Christian saints and martyrs.

No, but we have to work ourselves to try to end the demonic aspects of Halloween. Have churches not promote the holiday, and promote alternative ways to celebrate October 31st, such as a day of giving candy and gospel tracts.

I am just an impatient man, and I will wait for Christ's return, whether that happens in my lifetime, or after my passing.

I can remember feeling that way. I got over it. Halloween has roots in a mixture of paganism and the church. You really can't have this holiday without either one, thank you Scotch-Irish folks. My thought is enjoy what is good, and treat nothing like it's nothing. My second thought is listen to Slayer and relax. Death is a leveler and we wouldn't have Halloween without Christians conquering pagan lands. You've got to take the bad with good; y'all created it.

The larger point is Christianity and Halloween are intimately connected. It's a direct result of Christian power appropriating pagan practices in order to appease the masses. If you reject what came out of that, you reject the power that started it. Right?

I am okay with that. But dang man, take this stuff seriously. We must not play with these evil spiritual forces. Christians do not take spiritual warfare seriously enough. Yes, most things are not demonic (for instance, some crazy evangelical pastors say disabilities are, when in reality, disabilities are scientifically explained), but there is a dark force behind this holiday.

Evil forces destroy, and there are so many at work right now that have nothing to do with dressing up and having a rambunctious night, which is the tradition. We have had this tradition in times of peace and times of war. This is not evil; just look around. All that out there, children dying, that is evil and we do nothing.

There is a lot of evil, and I agree with you on these points. War is evil, politicians are evil, suffering is evil, billionaires are evil.

Agreed. The world is gonna get a lot worse in these End Times. We are already in the End Times, and have been since 33 AD, with signs of the times picking up after the end of WWII. Daniel 12:4, Knowledge shall increase, discusses the information age, while Matthew 24:32-35 discuss the fig tree blooming, which could refer to Israel in 1948.
