Surprising to me I have met certain pentecostals who say its wrong, but I can't tell you if this was taught in their church or not. A pentecostal church I attended for a number of yrs had my pastor, who was black, and was married to a white woman. I never had a problem with it, not sure why anyone would.

Hebrews says marriage is honorable in all. I have also heard, but never really dug into the history that Moses was married outside of his race.

"What are the Pentecostal beliefs on Interracial Marriages?"

Depends of WHERE they are, and what the local social feelings are about the issue. What plays in Dallas, might not play in Rural Alabama - regardless of denominational franchise.

Bottom line - being "Pentecostal" doesn't mean anything where racial prejudice is concerned. The Assemblies of God is "Officially" Color blind - but that doesn't mean that all AoG Franchises are too.

I'm in Alabama, and the pentecostal church I've been attended is the most integrated of any I've ever seen. I think they believe in marriage within the faith, but race isn't likely a factor.

I just don't see where someone could feel that they have a Biblical reason to promote this in their church if that happens. If I remember correctly the person above was correct..Moses had two Ethiopian wives I believe. Is this something that you've witnessed and it brought this up?

What are the Pentecostal beliefs on Interracial Marriages? :preach:

race ?

born again of the Sprit of God
vs
Not born again of the spirit of God

race = 2

1citizens of heaven by faith in Christ Jesus
2and unbelievers .

be ye not unequally yoked .
thus if your a christian .. basically don't marry a non christian

and any way..whom ever you intend to marry you should ask the lord ..if he says no ... don't do it ..our life is not our own ..its Christs ,he has redeemed us .

so in summary - there is no race issue .
only the issue of obedience to the Holy Spirit . :)

What are the Pentecostal beliefs on Interracial Marriages? :preach:

Well considering there is no single Pentecostal church, there is no single Pentecostal belief on interracial marriage. However, if you were to ask what the typical belief was, I'd say there was no objection to it.

My Pentecostal church is probably the most racially diverse church in our county (in South Carolina) and we have several interracial couples.

I would not go to a church that taught racial prejudice of any sort--even if the church called itself Pentecostal.
