New Evidence Clearly Indicates Pat Tillman Was Executed
Army medical examiners concluded Tillman was shot three times in the head from just 10 yards away, no evidence of "friendly fire" damage at scene, Army attorneys congratulated each other on cover-up, Wesley Clark concludes "orders came from the very top" to murder pro-football star because he was about to become an anti-war political icon
Prison Planet | July 27, 2007
Paul Joseph Watson

Astounding new details surrounding the death of Pat Tillman clearly indicate that top brass decided to execute the former pro football star in cold blood to prevent him from returning home and becoming an anti-war icon.

These same criminals then engaged in a sophisticated conspiracy to create a phony "friendly fire" cover story.

Shocking new facts emerged about the case last night but were bizarrely underplayed by the Associated Press under nondescript headlines like 'New Details on Tillman's Death' - a complete disservice to the horrific implications that the new evidence carries.

Army medical examiners were suspicious about the close proximity of the three bullet holes in Pat Tillman's forehead and tried without success to get authorities to investigate whether the former NFL player's death amounted to a crime, according to documents obtained by The Associated Press.

"The medical evidence did not match up with the, with the scenario as described," a doctor who examined Tillman's body after he was killed on the battlefield in Afghanistan in 2004 told investigators.

The doctors - whose names were blacked out - said that the bullet holes were so close together that it appeared the Army Ranger was cut down by an M-16 fired from a mere 10 yards or so away .

The report also states that "No evidence at all of enemy fire was found at the scene - no one was hit by enemy fire, nor was any government equipment struck."

The article also reveals that "Army attorneys sent each other congratulatory e-mails for keeping criminal investigators at bay as the Army conducted an internal friendly-fire investigation that resulted in administrative, or non-criminal, punishments."

So there was no evidence whatsoever of friendly fire, but the ballistics data clearly indicated that the three head shots had been fired from just 10 yards away and then the Army tried to concoct a hoax friendly fire story and sent gloating back-slapping e mails congratulating each other on their success while preventing the doctors from exploring the possibility of murder. How can any sane and rational individual weigh this evidence and not come to the conclusion that Tillman was deliberately gunned down in cold blood?

The evidence points directly to it and the motivation is clear - Tillman abandoned a lucrative career in pro-football immediately after 9/11 because he felt a rampaging patriotic urge to defend his country, and became a poster child for the war on terror as a result. But when he discovered that the invasion of Iraq was based on a mountain of lies and deceit and had nothing to do with defending America, he became infuriated and was ready to return home to become an anti-war hero.

As far back as March 2003, immediately after the invasion, Tillman famously told his comrade Spc. Russell Baer, "You know, this war is so [wash my mouth][wash my mouth][wash my mouth][wash my mouth]ing illegal," and urged his entire platoon to vote against Bush in the 2004 election. Far from the gung-ho gruff stereotype attributed to him, Tillman was actually a fiercely intellectual man with the courage of his convictions firmly in place.

Tillman had even begun to arrange meetings with anti-war icons like Noam Chomsky upon his return to America before his death cut short any aspirations of becoming a focal point for anti-war sentiment.

According to Daily Kos , Wesley Clark appeared on Keith Olbermann's Countdown last night and stated that "the orders came from the very top" to murder Tillman as he was a political symbol and his opposition to the war in Iraq would have rallied the population around supporting immediate withdrawal.

The notion that the U.S. government gave orders for Army top brass to execute Pat Tillman in cold blood is the most damaging indictment of the Iraq war since it began, trumping the lies about weapons of mass destruction tenfold, but if the establishment media continue to soft-peddle and steam-valve one of the biggest stories of the century its impact will be completely diluted.

It is up to us to make this story go viral because the implications are so dire that they could act as the final death knell for the blood-soaked and illegal occupation of Iraq and become the clarion call to bring our troops home.

The link is to prisonplanet which is as credible as worldnewsdaily, if not even less credible. As far as I understand, Tillman was a ranger, and they're really tight-knit bunch. I'd wager they'll take this kind of truthspinning and outright lying pretty heavily. Maybe what happened was accident, or a grudge (REALLY doubtful), but this kind of slander is just uncalled for.

Let him rest in piece and the people involved deal with the aftermath. No e-mails, no nothing has been "uncovered". Just let it be.

I agree about prisonplanet being a very non-credible website. I looked on there once and was shocked at the conspiracy theories they espouse. Regardless of what happened to Pat Tillman, let him rest in peace. Hopefully they will find out what really happened but then again, we may never know.

You don't need to go to such exotic sources to find the story on Tillman. The major news outlets have reported the possibility that he was murdered.

Take the following story from CNN.

While there is a possibility that Tillman was murdered by an American soldier, it doesn't make sense that the Pentagon would order Tillman killed and then discipline the General who botched the investigation.

I know of no case in the history of the Republic where the Defense Department has covertly ordered a soldier murdered.

General's rank could be reduced in Tillman probe

One of the most important witnesses still points to a friendly fire accident, not murder, as the cause of Tillman's death.

It makes about as much sense as sending low ranking soldiers to federal prison for acting on orders to hassle prisoners at Abu Garib, while letting their high up leaders off the hook. Its good to know CNN is looking out for the US DOD in this case.

I know of no case in the history of the Republic where the Defense Department has covertly ordered a soldier murdered.

That must mean it has never ever happened in the history of the Republic. The CIA has admitted to killing US civilians with chemical weapons in the subways and everyone knows US soldiers were exposed to radiation from nuclear tests in the 50's. Since they have not admitted to ordering a hit on a US soldier I guess the Defense Department has never done such a dastardly thing.

One of the most important witnesses still points to a friendly fire accident, not murder, as the cause of Tillman's death.

At least someone stuck to their original story. See if these stories get followed up on to see who's lying or if they silently get swepped under the rug. Three rounds to the head at ten yards is alot of friendly fire from highly trained people who should have excellent eyesight and know how to shoot straight.

I'm sorry, but I don't buy it. Tillman was a Ranger, right? What are the Rangers really goo at? Killing people. They know how to kill people. IF Tillman was about to get vocal against the war, don't you THINK the Rangers would do SOMETHING besides make it look like an execution? I mean these guys are not stupid. IF he was a "problem soldier" I guarantee you he would have stepped on a grenade, or been given a suicide assignment with no backup, or at the very least, make it look like friendly fire. But he would NOT have been shot 3 times in the head from behind. I just don't buy the conspiracy garbage.

Thousands have been wounded and died on foreign soil, to come back to an indifferent nation, at substandard medical facilities, and encounter a ocean of red tape and nothing is said or done ....

but let one sports " icon " die ....

this stuff makes me ashamed to be a christian , for it is being discussed here and an american ... that we haven't got some thing better to do ... and a voter that I had some thing to do with putting so many " de-de-de" elected officials in a position of authority , who cannot find their own butt with a road map and a bushel basket...

he's dead ... nothing will bring him back ... the topic that should be discussed .... is did he know Jesus when he died ?

... he's dead ... nothing will bring him back ... the topic that should be discussed .... is did he know Jesus when he died ?

Survey says........uuuuuuuuuuunn. Nope. He was an admitted atheist.

Is there some reason to suspect there is some problem with that? It's all just about "faith", right? And what is "faith"? It is belief in assertions that are not proven, for which there is no evidence, and/or for which there can be no evidence or proof. So what use is it, really, for a thinking person?

If Tillman was a good person, that is all that matters. And he was. Case closed.

(And no amount of bible quoting or Koran quoting or any other kind of quoting makes one iota of difference to any thinking person. So why bother to bother about that which is not worthy of bothering about?)

Peace.
