I was in an Apostolic church for a while. they believe that Jesus is the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost all rolled into one. I had difficulty comprehending the concept especially in passages where Jesus to the Father, as in Geshemene, and when at Jesus' baptism, the Holy Spirit came upon Him while a voice came out of Heaven declaring "This is My Beloved Son...", etc. I finally left this church, not necessrily because of doctrinal disputes, but because they were very shepherdish, expecting me to come to every church service, lest I feel like I'd commited a major sin if I missed one.
What freed me from trying to make heads or tails out of the Trinity was John 14:10,11:
"Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.
Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake."
So, Jesus is given us a choice in to either believing He is in the Father and the father in Him, or just believe Him for the works He did.
So instead of trying to figure out the Godhead, I just believe Jesus for what He did and let the theologians figure out the relationships in the god head.
