“Exactly what ‘faith’ are you talking about when you say you don’t have to abandon it to support abortion?” NFL Hall of Fame coach Tony Dungy asked in response to a pro-abortion social media post by Vice President Kamala Harris. | Credit: Paul Archuleta/Getty Images

Here’s a roundup of pro-life-related news in the U.S. this week.

Football coach asks Harris: What ‘faith’ allows for abortion?

Tony Dungy, a Super Bowl-winning Hall of Fame football coach and a pro-life evangelical Christian, responded on social media to a pro-abortion statement from Vice President Kamala Harris in which Harris said: “One does not have to abandon their faith or deeply held beliefs to agree: The government, and certainly Donald Trump, should not be telling a woman what to do with her body.”

“Exactly what ‘faith’ are you talking about when you say you don’t have to abandon it to support abortion?” Dungy asked.

Are we taking retired NFL football players opinion of national politics now ?
Why not? They have opinions too. Anything else you want to snark about? You are obviously in the mood. You had to dig this one up.

Tony Dungy is well-known and respected within evangelical Protestant circles as coach, writer, public speaker. So Catholics may not know him so well, but what Tony has to say is often highly regarded, and generally is appreciated, amongst Protestants.

Hi Mich:

Ohhhh

{Cringe}
You're right, this one showed up on my feed as a suggested "similar thread".

I'll check the dates better.

Let me go find some fresher game....

Kamala Harris demonstrates that she is pro-abortion and anti-Christian.

Kamala Harris and her supporters openly mocked a Christian attendee during a rally in La Crosse, Wisconsin, on Thursday.

Kamala skipped the Al Smith Charity Dinner, a major Christian event in New York, to hit the campaign trail instead.

During her speech, she focused on promoting abortion when someone bravely interrupted her.

“We remember Donald Trump hand-selected three members of the United States Supreme Court with the intention that they would undo the protections of Roe v. Wade, and they did as he intended.”

A Christian attendee bravely stood up and proclaimed, “Jesus is Lord,” only to be mocked by Harris herself, who coldly replied, “I think you’re at the wrong rally.”

The crowd erupted in cheers and laughter, and Harris, with an air of smugness, added, “Try the smaller one down the street.”

If it walks like a duck, and talks like a duck, it's probably a duck!

In many ways, I actually see Harris as being pretty transparent.
I think we'd save ourselves some grief, if we just take her at face value when she does concerning things.
Pro-abortion and anti-Christian ... that is who she is. And she's not hiding it ...

More reasons why I can’t vote for her or respect her.

I’m tired of hearing about her already.

I’m done.
