Welcome to the forum. I was in the aviation navy to a long time ago, and did paper work. Wish I had done sheet metal cuz that’s where life lead me. Remember admiral zumwalt? The navy been very good to me. Pleased to make your acquaintance Mam.

Welcome to the forum.

My husband was in the Navy for 23 years and I spent 21 of those with him. He was in for a couple years before we married. He retired in 2004. He has since passed away.

I myself was in mortgage banking, and then I went into full-time ministry about 25 years ago.

I found the Navy life very interesting we live so many different places and bonded with so many different cultures and his family had a long history of naval service, which unfortunately died with him. My husband loved the Navy, he traveled the entire world many times over during his career on an aircraft carrier.

You two had had in common working on the jets. He was an aviation electrician. He also worked on the flight deck for a time.

Navy vet here too. I worked on the A-6 Intruder. They dispensed with the term 'WAVE' by the time I served. I was just a female Sailor.
