New believers

After listening to several testimonies, realized I had not prayed for new believers as I needed. Praying for new believers including those who are the only ones or one of the few in their families & communities.

Praying based on Scripture such as:

"In Him you also who have heard the Word of Truth, the glad tidings (Gospel) of your salvation, and have believed in and adhered to and relied on Him, were stamped with the seal of the long-promised Holy Spirit.
14 That [Spirit] is the guarantee of our inheritance [the firstfruits, the pledge and foretaste, the down payment on our heritage], in anticipation of its full redemption and our acquiring [complete] possession of it—to the praise of His glory." (Eph 1:13-14)

'For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.
15 For [the Spirit which] you have now received [is] not a spirit of slavery to put you once more in bondage to fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption [the Spirit producing sonship] in [the bliss of] which we cry, Abba (Father)! Father!
16 The Spirit Himself [thus] testifies together with our own spirit, [assuring us] that we are children of God." (Rom 8:14-16)

One of Jesus' prayers while on earth included:

"Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;..." (John 17:17, 20).

Thanking Him for the blinders being removed as they were for us.

".for their minds have been blinded by the god of this age, leaving them in unbelief. Their blindness keeps them from seeing the dayspring light of the wonderful news of the glory of Jesus Christ, who is the divine image of God." (II Cor 4:4).

"And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment;

10 That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ.

11 Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God." Philippines 1

Joining others in prayer for those who were involved in the occult especially those who didn't know what's in Scripture about those type of behaviors - activities. Based on reports, sometimes their leaders talk about God, the Godly, and Scriptures. So there can be a lot of mixture. (There's nothing new under the sun (Ecc 1:9).

Asking the Lord God, the Father, to aid them to see that He loves them and that He'll help them

Thankful that now they can see:
"for their minds have been blinded by the god of this age, leaving them in unbelief. Their blindness keeps them from seeing the dayspring light of the wonderful news of the glory of Jesus Christ, who is the divine image of God." (II Cor 4:4).

They can now -
- 37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38 This is the first and great commandment.
39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself."

- to help them put His armor on (Eph 6:10-18) and
-can read the Bible letting the Holy Spirit guide them to the truth (John 16:13).

Heavenly Father, we come before you and give thanks for all the blessings You've bestowed upon us. Thank You for Your mercy, grace and salvation.
We ask that You be with all new believers as they navigate through this world and all of the distractions. We ask that You lead and guide them in all Your ways and keep their focus on the things of Heaven. Help them to grow in wisdom, knowledge and understanding and rely on Your guidance and send them the discernment to know the difference between Your will and the deceits of the enemy.
We ask that You also be with the seasoned believers and help them to constantly grow and plant Your seeds of Truth and teach others of Your goodness.
We ask that all things be done to Your will in Jesus' name,

Continuing to join others praying for new followers of Christ Jesus.

Once they become believers, some lose their families and receive serious death threats. Others are attacked spiritually. Etc

Asking the Father to help them in every way because He knows each one intimately.

Amazing that our heavenly Father loves us.
