Understand scripture wisely and correctly.

the scripture In the resurrection, people will neither marry nor be given in marriage. Instead, they will be like the angels in heaven. has been misunderstood. the pharisees were talking about legal documents and nothing about soulmates, love, or companion ship. The pharisees were all about LAW and not the heart. Theyre question to Jesus about marriage was motivated by rules and not love. In scripture it also says that the desires of your heart will be granted if you delight yourself in God. This statement is not just for EARTH. It is for heaven too, becuase Gods words are etertnal. . A lot of people get sad and depressed and its like a deep hole in the soul when they think of no marriage in heaven becuase they understand mathew 22:30 wrong. This is a big DEAL. We were created for love and closeness and. I want this video to bring you peace and joy and to know you have a soulmate here on earth and in heaven if not on earth/another point is that Gods image is both male and female so what makes up a reflection of god is a relationship between a man and a woman. This is gods design. and purpose. And it is good. and it is eternal.
I would call it a spiritual wife or husband. God is all about love and closeness ,
and RELATIONSHIP.
two intertwined hearts that love.
will be for eternity with a couple in heaven.

I didnt believe this either. Until i looked into it.

I think your analysis is wrong on a couple of fronts. For starters:
the scripture In the resurrection, people will neither marry nor be given in marriage. Instead, they will be like the angels in heaven. has been misunderstood. the pharisees were talking about legal documents and nothing about soulmates, love, or companion ship.
There are marriages without legal documents, between non-soulmates (if there even is such a thing), without love, and without companionship. I think it's pretty hard to misinterpret when Jesus said, "People will neither marry nor be given in marriage."

Second, you talk about the Psalm where ...
it also says that the desires of your heart will be granted if you delight yourself in God. This statement is not just for EARTH. It is for heaven too, becuase Gods words are etertnal.
There are a couple of things wrong here. One is, how do you know that this statement is not just for earth? There is plenty of Scripture that *is* just for earth. What criteria are you using to tell you that this is true in the eternal state, too?

Another thing wrong is the fact that in many marriages, it is *not* the desire of the man's or wife's (or both) heart to be married. Is God going to force them to remain in that undesired married state forever?

Finally, what of people who have been married more than once? Say I die and my wife remarries. In heaven, who is she married to?

Imo, I think you need to think this thing through a little more.

In heaven there is neither Male nor Female. Those who feel dismayed at the thought of not having a mate in heaven, are those who have not fully died to the flesh....Those who cannot say "no more I but Christ that lives in me." These are why who need to think more about getting the heaven, rather than the affairs of those who are there...

The people we love and have relationships with on earth, we can still love in heaven. How often do people think of seeing their lost parent, or child, or other loved one? Husbands and wives are no different in that respect.

However, there is no need for the procreative aspect of marriage. So in that sense there will be no "marriage". But continued love and companionship, surely.

I think there is no need of other people in heaven. We can be alone with loved human forever. And I think body have same functions there. We don't know if this will be parallel earth.

That's not how Scripture portrays the life in the age to come. In Revelation we see there are great multitudes, together. It's not a little secret forever love nest for bodily pleasure.

All things come together in Christ.

It is logical to have marriage in heaven. Since God created them male and female and created them in heaven.
That verse could be interpreted, that God create Both male and female in one body. Male and female created He them.....all of them were both male and female...... Then of course they were separated after the male was formed from the dust of the ground......woman taken out of man.....

Until we hate those relationships......mother/father, Daughter/son, Wife, Brother/sister we cannot see the kingdom and Cannot be a disciple of Jesus Luke 14:26 . Therefore it is unlikely that these relationships will follow us after life......unless of course we go to the other place.....it is documented that people there still acknowledge those relationships on earth, from there.

You'll have to take that up with God. But if you refuse to be part of the community of believers, the Body of Christ - that might exclude a person from the presence of God.

Marriage is an earthly commitment for sexual exclusion and raising children. Additionally a life-long commitment to God for continuing to be there for each other and the children, even when in old age and the children have left the house. But in heaven sexual relationships are unnecessary for the continuation of life as it's eternal, and love is separate from it as God loves in the spirit to all. On earth we have confused sex and love as the same, love can be expressed in the act but itself isn't.

Actual love can be expressed to all men and women including God non-sexually, it's no less intimate because of it. I believe if were one with God who's one with the Lord Jesus, who is one with us as his body; then probably we'll be as one with each other spiritually in heaven, supposedly this is how were to be on earth too. Good news is yes we'll have love in heaven and will see our loved ones there, just that love and relationships will be agape (Godly love).

Everyone in heaven will be our soul mate!
We will be of one heart and one mind.
There is no love better than the love we'll feel in heaven.

Sorry I missed this.

We need to understand "hate" in context. God also tells us to honor our father and mother within the Ten Commandments.

We must not put those relationships higher in importance to us than God.

But we are called to love others - of course that is to include those of our own households - not to actually hate anyone.

We are to love everyone as ourselves, and not according to our relationships with them. Do you believe we are to honor mother and father, but it is ok to dishonor other elderly? We are to treat everyone the same....otherwise, we are no better than the publican and the sinner.....for they too love those that love them. The easiest way to do this is the hate the relationships and realize we are all one in Christ....and what we do to the least, we do to Him.

if you hate not your brother/sister, Husband/wife, you are not worthy to follow Me.

It is best that we Ask God what this means instead of going by what out Minds tell us is right and logical and makes sense.

Peace to you.

I don't know why you assume I mean that we are to dishonor other elderly. Please forgive me if I said anything to make you think so.

We are to love everyone. Every person is made in the image of God.

However, we have particular responsibilities toward those of our own households.

We should not hate anyone - only sin.

Not looking to argue with you. If you don't agree that's your right.
