Elon Musk called the move to impeach Judge James Boasberg 'necessary'

After Obama-appointed Judge James Boasberg issued an order Saturday halting President Donald Trump's rapid deportation of Venezuelan gang members, Texas GOP Rep. Brandon Gill swiftly announced plans to file articles of impeachment in an effort to remove him.

Gill made the announcement on X, formerly Twitter, on Saturday, noting he would be filing the motion this week. In a subsequent tweet from Elon Musk, the entrepreneur turned Trump advisor responded simply, "Necessary."

"The very worst judges – those who repeatedly flout the law – should at least be put to an impeachment vote, whether that vote succeeds or not," Musk followed up in a separate post on X Monday.

Continued below.

These situations of hard left local prosecutors and judges grasping for control of the people and trying to run the nation need to be stopped. We should not tolerate such abuses of power.

The way I read the Act,n Trump is in violation of the law and non-compliance would make him subject to impeachment, not the Judge.

The judge will be allowed to speak when impeached. There will be no gag order as there was for Trump.

You mean "if" he is impeached. The House may investigate and find nothing. Trump can be investigated and impeached, as well, since he is in non-compliance with the Act and the judges order.

Congressman Gill has said he will file articles of impeachment this week.

Impeach Trump again. See how that works out for Democrats.
Some people haven't learned anything

So far, it worked out better than Republicans attempt to remove Mayorkas. Their impeachment was ruled unconstitutional in the Senate. There were enough Republicans in the Senate that agreed that the charges against Trump were proven but they refused to vote to remove him.

Who is the president? That's how well it worked for Democrats

History will Trump as the worse President in American history.
Which would come out as rather odd considering he was elected president twice.

All Presidents were elected. Somebody has to be the worse. No other President has been impeached twice. He is the only convicted criminal.

And despite that he was elected a second time.

How is it an abuse of power to stop and see if Trump's use of the Alien's Enemy Act is legal? When you exempt executive action from scrutiny believe me when I say that a future President will do something that will restrict our rights. Instead of quick in the night deportations, Trump should hire more immigration judges and process cases down to days not, years.

The Supreme Court has previously ruled on the Act. The judge took the extraordinary step of trying to interfere with a presidential order.
