Joke on tithing

A church member who wasn't sure about tithing had the following conversation with his pastor:

Member: "Pastor, why do we tithe"?
Pastor: "Because it's God's command and will"?
Member: "Yes, I know. But, what is it used for"?
Pastor: "Church outreach, activities, bills, pastor's salary".
Member: "But, I thought that you didn't work for wages like other men".
Pastor: "I don't, but don't tell anyone, OK"?
