7 “But ask the animals, and they will teach you,

or the birds in the sky, and they will tell you;

8 or speak to the earth, and it will teach you,

or let the fish in the sea inform you.

9 Which of all these does not know

that the hand of the Lord has done this?

10 In his hand is the life of every creature

and the breath of all mankind.

This is Job's response to Job's friends when Job's friends were debating the reasons for his suffering and they ask "Can you fathom the mysteries of God?" and Job replied with the above.
He says in verse 10 that In His hand is the life of every creature and the breath of all mankind. Well God breathed breath into the nostrils of man. Genesis 2:7
I can't find anywhere that God breathed breath into an animals nostrils or any other creature.

I think you're reading too much into it. I'm sure God did a lot of things you won't find in the bible.

Yes I agree, maybe I am but everything in the Bible is there for us for a reason.

Gordon Clark (taught philosophy at Butler University in Indianapolis) said: In one way this is reminiscent of Genesis 2:7. As God breathed into Adam’s nostrils the breath or spirit of life, so too God sent forth his spirit into the animals.

Some people are afraid to say that animals have souls. They not only have souls, they are souls. Some people are afraid to say that animals have spirit. But Genesis 6:17 and 7:15, and Psalm 104:29, as well as Ecclesiastes 3:21 ascribe spirit to animals. Animals are souls. They are not just clay.

Maybe I don't understand your post. There is a difference between the Almighty's breath being in a human and Him giving life to animals. I agree with the post above. The Bible makes it clear that animals have spirits. The same word meaning spirit, in Hebrew, is used for both people and animals by Solomon. He says we don't know if the spirits of men go up (to Heaven) or if the spirits of animals go down (to you know where.) To me this is obviously saying that some people will make it to Heaven and some will not, and ditto animals.

In the Bible, in the original Hebrew, we see that animals are worshiping before the Throne. We see an eagle flying through Heaven in Revelation making a verbal pronouncement. When Messiah comes back He is on a white horse and there is an army behind him on horses, too.

Many who have had near death (sometimes they were just plain dead, for prolonged periods) experiences have come back and said they saw animals, sometimes former pets, in Heaven. This is reported by children, too, btw. The best Biblical analysis of this phenomenon is given by Dean Braxton, in my opinion. He had no heart beat and no respiration for 1 3/4 hours as the result of kidney complications. His emergency care doctor can be seen on a CBN vid saying "He was really, really dead" and adding "It is a miracle...a miracle...." that he is alive with no brain damage and is normal in every way now. In a vid with the Prophecy Club Braxton talks about seeing animals in Heaven and how the Bible supports that.

He was reluctant to mention about the animals in his speaking engagements, at first, but then saw how glad people were to hear it. He, himself, had been taught, and believed, that animals do not have spirits.

Animals need to be treated well. Braxton said in one of his vids that if you don't treat them well "You will hear about it."
