Jesus promised, “I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee” – OSAS proved true.

The Lord Jesus Christ promised the saved that He will never leave them.

Hebrews 13:5
Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

So the saved could never go to hell. If they did, Jesus Christ would still be with them and would be in hell forever. That emphatic and absolute promise, without condition, shows that once saved always saved is true.

Also if the saved could lose salvation and go to hell forever, then Jesus Christ would certainly have forsaken them. So it is impossible fro the saved to lose salvation. Never, ever could it happen.

Eternal Security or Once Saved Always Saved is absolutely true and guaranteed by Jesus Christ my Saviour.

Please see the following threads on how to be saved forever.
Where will you spend eternity?

This is what it means to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ

Once Saved Always Saved...is NOT TRUE.

He will never forsake us but we can forsake Him. When we do then we are no longer saved. If we worship another, which is going to happen to many during the great tribulation, then He is no longer our Saviour.

Isaiah 8:15 And many among them shall stumble, and fall, and be broken, and be snared, and be taken.

Matthew 24:24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

The passages you quoted are not about any saved person losing salvation. False Christs are not saved. And from the second verse, the elect are not deceived which proves OSAS.
Thank you for pointing out another proof of OSAS.

The key to understanding both the passages that warn against apostasy and passages that speak of the security of the believer is the scriptural distinction between law and gospel.

The law is God's Word that condemns and mortifies our old man. Since we remain sinners even after God has justified us, our old man is constantly looking for ways to justify himself and his sinful actions. If possible the old man would rather continue in sin that grace may abound. The many warnings against apostasy given by our Lord himself and also in the epistles are there to curb our sinful flesh, to warn us that even a believer in Christ may foolishly reach the point where he would rather live in sins of unrepentance or despair and repudiate the faith he once hand in Christ and be damned.

The gospel is that we do not save ourselves, that God is our savior and is more than able to complete what he has begun in us. The gospel is there for sinners who fear that by repeated sin, doubt, apathy or despair they have wandered so far that God will never forgive them. This gospel is that our Lord will never leave or forsake us, and that even the most hardened and rebellious sinner may at any time turn back to God, who like the father of the Prodigal will rush to meet him and celebrate his return.

These two words of God are not meant to be pitted against each other, they are to be confessed and used pastoraly to warn unrepentant sinners and to comfort those who are repentant and sorry for their sin.

Now the Spirit speaks expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to deceitful spirits, and doctrines of demons; 1 Timothy 4:1

OSAS is a false doctrine designed to give a false sense of security to Christians. The Scriptures are overflowing with warnings to remain vigilant lest we fall away from God's grace as Israel did in the wilderness. Balaam was God's prophet, yet was destroyed for his sins.

Those that have departed are just a group of people whose offspring have left the true belief that salvation is forever.

The doctrines of devils is defined in the passage. Notice it is adding to the simple gospel of salvation forever by faith in Jesus Christ.

1 Timothy 4:1-5
1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;
3 Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.
4 For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving:
5 For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.

The point of that passage was to show that it's very much possible for a person born of God to depart from the faith. There is no such thing as "once saved, always saved" as you preach it.

The verses didn't speak about false christs being saved. It is about those that are saved being deceived by the false christs.

He never forsakes us-but scripture is rife with admonitions for believers not to forsake Him-with not-so-wonderful consequences if we do. Even Heb 13:5 carries with it that tone to some degree.

The promise in Hebrews 13:5 has no conditional on it so it is absolute.

Even if so, Hebrews 13:5 would amount to one verse amidst a plethora of verses that do have conditions. Here are just a few:

So, if you think you are standing firm, be careful that you don't fall! 1 Cor 10, 12

For if you live according to the sinful nature, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live,... Rom 8:13

Yet I hold this against you: You have forsaken the love you had at first. 5 Consider how far you have fallen! Repent and do the things you did at first. If you do not repent, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place. 6 But you have this in your favor: You hate the practices of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate. 7 Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who is victorious, I will give the right to eat from the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God. Rev 2:4-7

To me, this suggests that we should be careful about over confidence or arrogance. We can fall and stumble into sin. The battle with the flesh goes on even after we are saved.
For if you live according to the sinful nature, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live,... Rom 8:13

a natural consequences of resisting the Spirit and walking in sin is spiritual death. We can't have it both ways.

To me, this looks like more of a corporate warning to the church more than individuals. The lampstand is the church. The Lord would rather a church end and be dissolved rather than a church that is a poor witness for him. The true believer, is the one who is victorious and perseveres

You are correct that that is a warning to the church as a whole and not to those that are saved.

Well, that's convenient. So much for private interpretations. There were two other verses included in my post BTW-and a lot more along the same vein in the NT.

1 Cor 10:12
Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.

That just means to fall in this life. There is no mention of anybody losing salvation. That is just a private interpretation.

The same goes for Romans 8:13.

Oh, I see-God no longer cares about sin-about opposition to His will-after the whole drama that the original sin of Adam set in motion. He just quit caring if His universe is restored to the order He created it in. It's now impossible for "true believers"-a rather subjective concept-to fall again, to be a branch grafted in and then later cut off, to be rocky soil where the word first takes root and later withers and dies.

The key to the parable of the sower is given by Jesus Christ in the following verse. Those that believe are saved.

Luke 8:12
Those by the way side are they that hear; then cometh the devil, and taketh away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved.

I'd read the rest. The parable continues on to speak of those who believed for awhile, while those with a good and noble heart persevere and produce a good crop. It'd be profitable to likewise read the rest of 1 Cor 10-Paul's not speaking of merely falling in this life, whatever that's supposed to mean.

"Those on the rocky ground are the ones who receive the word with joy when they hear it, but they have no root. They believe for a while, but in the time of testing they fall away. 14The seed that fell among thorns stands for those who hear, but as they go on their way they are choked by life’s worries, riches and pleasures, and they do not mature. 15But the seed on good soil stands for those with a noble and good heart, who hear the word, retain it, and by persevering produce a crop".

Luke 8:12 says believe and be saved. So they are saved forever just by belief. What the rest of the parable says is more of a interpretation.

Paul is the apostle of the Gentiles, chosen by Jesus Christ. (see Romans 11:13)
Paul has the gospel of salvation, by direct revelation of Jesus Christ. (see Galatians 1)
The Gentiles are to hear the gospel of salvation from Paul. (see Romans 15:16 and 2 Timothy 4:17)
