Jaguar dream

[Spiritlight]

A couple of nights back a really disturbing dream came to me, Interpretation would be good if anyone can.

It was set in a nearby suburb in an area that does not exist in it and also in a wildlife zoo that isn't there either.


In this dream I found myself walking along an open field surrounded by trees and fences after entering the wildlife park. My family and friends were with me when a lone Jaguar approached us walking slowly. The others stayed back as I approached it myself cautiously.

I put my hand in its mouth and it did not bite me to my relief, but realised I trusted it and liked it.It would allow me to get close to it safely.

The Jaguar could speak to me and told me how much it was misunderstood and hated the captivity people had put it in, so I decided to get it out of the fences and freed it.

Next I was sitting beside a main road on a park bench having a chat with the Jaguar in a very friendly way and it was confiding in me its secrets.

The dream switches here and is set at home where I accidentally hurt my daughter and made her bleed via mistaken identity. This was very disturbing and upsetting when I awoke and was on my mind all the next day.

when I went to bed last night it all played through my head again as soon as I went to bed.

Jaguar eerily reminds me of Satan tricking people into trusting him, then slowly turning your views away from God which can in turn hurt friends and family.

I used to be into dreams and visions and studying one Mayan book, they mentioned that numerous sources of Mayans believed that if you touch a Jaguar, s/he can steal your soul unless you are powerful or strong enough to contain the fierce energy.

Interesting dream nonetheless, I would take this as a learning experiment to watch for deception more closely when you are awake.

I accidentally hurt my daughter and made her bleed via mistaken identity
Can you elaborate on "via mistaken identity" a little more.

My thought is that there is some incident that you have not forgiven yourself for. It may not even involve sin. Sometimes accidents & the like are more diffiicult to move on from because there's no reason to ask the Lord's forgiveness & get that kind of closure. If I am on the right track, this incident probably caused emotional or physical injury to someone (or if you are female the little girl or innocence in you) you were responsible for.

Walking with a kind of unresolved guilt can imprison our strength & isolate us to some extent.

Jesus sacrifice is more than enough to cover unwise things we have done & even our accidents. He died to free us from any kind of guilt.

Thanks guys, I tend to assume ultra vivid memorable dreams may come with a message to be worked out.

One thing I forgot to mention in the dream was the corner of the wildlife reserve there was a building and that building is a brick baptist church in the suburb it was set in. The building was the main entrance to it and controlled the captivity of the jaguar.

If you don't clearly see in your spirit that he represents the enemy, then the jaguar may represent a wild powerful untameable misunderstood aspect of yourself, that the church or individual believers within the church) do not see/recognize/understand about you.

you could be right I did not think about it that way I did not think it was the enemy but when I woke I the thought crossed my mind and I asked the lord for protection just in case because it seemed unlikely to get a dream from God involving me harming my daughter. It could be either. It improved my prayer life the next day.

The dream of your daughter is a seperate dream, but it is related. I say that because in the first dream you have "misunderstanding" regarding the characteristics of the jaguar/you (indentity perception issue) and then in the second dream you have collateral damage caused by another misunderstanding regarding a persons indentity. Your child could be symbolically representing the "younger you". Do you see the common thread there? It is about people misunderstanding you and not knowing what you are truly like inside. Can you share with us what is going on in your life connected to being or feeling "misunderstood"?
