Last night while watching JVI I saw that he was selling a new Bible.

In it, he had included 3 of his own writings, essentially binding his work in the Bible. In time, his writing will be seen as God- breathed and will just be considered Scripture.

This got me wondering if other books in the Bible have been attached without Divine Providence.

I know that there are some worries that the work of Paul is actually of the devil, just as it was warned that the devil would pose as a Christiian to manipulate doctrine and insert his own. I think that he would have done this as soon as Jesus was no longer living, rather than wait till the last minute.

I feel that concern for Salvation has been a red herring to get us to concern ourselves with our own mortality, rather than focusing on the life of Jesus as an example of how to live while we are here on this Earth.

Could Paul be the Anti-Christ?

Study Bibles have commentary all the time .

The difference between the Apostle Paul and Jack Van Impe is the Apostle Paul is attested to by:
Luke in Acts 13:2 (Luke wrote Acts)
The Apostle Peter in 2 Peter 3:15
The church fathers: St. Clement of Rome (the disciple of the Apostle Peter) in 1 Clement 5, for example.
The recipients of Paul's Epistles (Paul wrote back and forth to people; by the language in the Epistles, we can determine the recipients spoke to him as a friend).

Unless you think Jesus failed miserably to protect His Apostles from apostasy, we've got a pretty strong case.

Yes it is a full time job with the information and news we have access to today, but what signs and why is worthwhile? (said with a big smile and with respect)...

Because we are faced with a generation that tells us that the bible is not relevant in today's society . being able to illustrate how it is relevant may help "gently restore" some .

1 Peter 3:15
But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect,

1 Chronicles 12:32
men of Issachar, who understood the times and knew what Israel should do—200 chiefs, with all their relatives under their command;

Matthew 16:3
and in the morning, 'Today it will be stormy, for the sky is red and overcast.' You know how to interpret the appearance of the sky, but you cannot interpret the signs of the times.

In order to respond with gentleness and respect we would need to know what we're talking about so that we avoid coming off defensive .
