Is there any major differences of Lutherans and Baptists?

They seem very similar, mostly the differences has to do with certain practices or minor doctrinal differences?
From what I understand Baptists believe in Eternal Security, Lutherans do not. That is Lutherans believe one can lose faith and with it justification.

Baptists don't believe in infant baptism, Lutherans do. That is Baptists believe that only those who have heard the gospel, understand and believe it are qualified to be baptized.

Baptists view water baptism and communion as ordinances rather than Sacraments as Lutherans view them. That is Baptists view them as symbolic rather than substantive. In contrast to Sacramental theology where one's involvement in the ceremony itself confers some sort of grace.

Lutherans include both Missouri Synod and ELCA, which covers both the right and left of Christianity.

What has been written so far is accurate. I would add that Baptists in general are probably closer to Reformed in most thought than they are to Lutherans.

In regards to corporate worship:
Most (though not all) Lutheran services will be Liturgical in the tradition of Western Catholic Christianity and similar to a Catholic Mass and usually include vestments, altar attendants, and weekly communion. Lutheran sermons are generally 5-10 minutes long and focus on Law and Gospel, or relate to the reading of the day. You will also not find a "altar call" or "ask Jesus into your heart" sermon in a Lutheran church.

Most Baptist services are not Liturgical in the same sense, though they will follow some order of worship, lack vestments, and usually only have communion once a year or quarterly. Nearly every Baptist service I have been to the sermon has some sort of altar call or "ask Jesus into your heart" basis or ending - and I went to a Baptist school and church through Middle School, so I went to a lot of services in weekly Chapel and Sunday.

For what it's worth, this is an excellent book that although it is written from the Lutheran viewpoint, it respectfully shows the differences between Calvinism and Lutheranism. I know there are obviously differences between Baptists and Calvinists too, but this is a great book to figure out the differences, and what Scriptural basis Lutherans hold to their theology.

My own journey has been from Baptist theology, through to Reformed, and finally now to Lutheran. There have been many books and writings that have been helpful to me, but this is great for a side by side comparison.

I tried finding it on Logos myself when it was recommended to me, but ended up reading it on Kindle through my iPad. It was only a few quid as an ebook, and well worth it.
