I believe Isaac's birth from Sarah at 90 is a hidden prophecy for the spiritual birth of a remnant in Israel through faith in Christ, when the end-time nation is 90 years old at the end of the tribulation in 2038. And this time-frame for the end of tribulation is confirmed in several prophetic stories throughout the Bible.
In this two part article I will examine the related scriptures that reveal Isaac's birth from Sarah at 90 is symbolic for Israel's birth in Christ at the end of the tribulation, and how the Lord opened my blinded eyes to recognize this significant end-time prophecy.
Ecclesiastes 7:24 That which has been (in the past) is far off (and prophetic of the future), and deep (deeply hidden in the scriptures), very deep; who can find it out?
Proverbs 25:2 It is the glory of God to conceal things, but the glory of kings is to search things out.
If the tribulation ends in 2037 to 2040, the fig tree generation of Israel that became a nation on May 14, 1948, will be approximately 89 to 92 years old and will not completely pass away before Jesus returns to save his people, Matthew 24:32-34.
After I recognized the possible time-frame of 2037 to 2040 for the end of the tribulation, I was reading the story of Isaac's birth when this peculiar question came into my thoughts, is Isaac's birth from Sarah at 90 a prophecy for Israel's birth in Christ when the end-time nation is 90 years old in 2038?
Read the story of the shepherd's 99 sheepWhen I had this curious thought I searched through the scriptures for the next several hours but I found nothing that would answer my question concerning Isaac's birth. The next morning as my eyes opened I had this mysterious waking thought, “read the story of the shepherd's 99 sheep.”
There have been several times during my waking moments in the morning when God has given me specific thoughts concerning the scriptures, so I knew it was important to read the parable of the 99 sheep.
As I was reading the parable of the Shepherd's 100 sheep I recognized the numbers 99 and 100 that are only mentioned in one other story in the Bible, the birth of Isaac from Abraham at 100 and Sarah at 90, Genesis 17:17, 21, 24.
The common numbers of 99 and 100 that connects the story of Isaac's birth to the Shepherd's flock of 100 sheep is not a meaningless coincidence, but a divine clue that reveals these stories are two related pieces of a prophetic puzzle.
Its important to understand that Jesus spoke to his audience in parables. Then in a scripture that's connected by similar words, phrases or numbers, Jesus explained the meaning of his parables to his disciples, Matthew 13:35-36.
And I believe this is why the story of the shepherd's 99 sheep was placed into my waking thoughts, since God was revealing the next step for understanding the prophecy that's concealed in Isaac's birth when Sarah was 90 and Abraham was 100.
Immediately following the shepherd's flock of 100 sheep is a similar parable of a woman who had 9 silver coins that searched her house with a lamp for her 10th coin that was lost.
Although I did not understand the meaning of the shepherd's 100 sheep or the woman's 9 coins and one that's lost, I knew these two parables held the key for unlocking the prophetic meaning of Isaac's birth when Abraham was 100 and Sarah was 90. With this in mind let's take another look at these two parables.
The shepherd's 100 sheepLuke 15:4-7 "What man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he has lost one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the open country, and go after the one that is lost, until he finds it? (5) And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing. (6) And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and his neighbors, saying to them, 'Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep that was lost.' (7) Just so, I tell you, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance.
The shepherd's 1 lost sheep in this story clearly represents a lost sinner who needs to be born-again in the righteousness of Christ. However could there be a deeper meaning that's hidden within this parable?
Take the message of the Kingdom to lost sheep of the house of IsraelIn Matthew 10:5-7, Jesus told his disciples not to take the message of the kingdom to the Gentiles or the Samaritans, but rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. Therefore the one lost sheep that the shepherd is searching for to complete his flock of 100 righteous sheep, is symbolic for the lost sheep of Israel.
Jeremiah 50:6 "My people have been lost sheep. Their shepherds have led them astray, turning them away on the mountains.
If the shepherd left his 99 righteous sheep in search for his one lost sheep, then what do these righteous sheep represent?
In Romans 11:25-26 it says, when the fullness of the Gentiles have come into the Kingdom of God, the partial hardening of Israel's hearts will end when Jesus the good shepherd (John 10:11) will begin to reveal himself to the lost sheep of Israel and in this way all Israel will be saved, Matthew 15:24, Psalms 119:176.
The scriptures in Romans 11:25-26, reveal the shepherd's 99 righteous sheep are symbolic for the fullness of Gentile believers that will and come into God's kingdom first (John 10:16, Revelation 6:10-11), and after this Jesus the good Shepherd will begin to reveal himself to the 12 tribes of 12,000 who will then share the gospel with the lost sheep of Israel in the tribulation, Revelation 7:1-8.
And in this way Abraham's offspring, the 100th lost sheep represented by a remnant in Israel, will be born-again by faith and brought into an everlasting covenant with God at the end of the tribulation, Genesis 17:7, 19, Exodus 20:37.
When will God's everlasting covenant with Abraham's offspring be complete?Just as God's promise was not complete until Isaac was born when Abraham was 100, God's everlasting covenant promise with Abraham's offspring Israel will not be complete until Jesus the good Shepherd finds his 100th lost sheep when a remnant of Israel is born-again, Jeremiah 50:19-20.
Galatians 3:6-7 just as Abraham "believed God, and it was counted to him as righteousness"? (7) Know then that it is those of faith who are the sons of Abraham (like Isaac).
Galatians 4:28 Now you, brothers, like Isaac, are children of promise (born-again through faith in Jesus).
Romans 9:6-8 But it is not as though the word of God has failed. For not all who are descended from Israel belong to Israel, (7) and not all are children of Abraham because they are his offspring, but "Through Isaac shall your offspring be named." (8) This means that it is not the children of the flesh who are the children of God, but the children of the promise (like Isaac) are counted as offspring.
In the articles below I examine the scriptures that seem to be pointing to the years of 2031 to 2038 for God's tribulation judgment of unbelieving mankind.

The 2,000 year gospel age
In a previous article I discussed the story of Joseph who was in prison for “two whole years” after the cupbearer was set free on on the third day, that reveals a timeline for the 2,000 year gospel age beginning from Jesus resurrection (in 30 to 33 AD) that will be completed in 2030 to 2033, followed by 7 years of tribulation that will end in the 2037 to 2040 time-frame, Genesis 40:1-23, 41:1, 10-14.If the tribulation ends in 2037 to 2040, the fig tree generation of Israel that became a nation on May 14, 1948, will be approximately 89 to 92 years old and will not completely pass away before Jesus returns to save his people, Matthew 24:32-34.

99, 100 and 90
In the story of Isaac's birth there are three important numbers that are mentioned, 99 and 100 for the age of Abraham and 90 for Sarah. The numbers 99 and 100 that connects the story of Isaac's birth to the shepherd's flock of 100 sheep is not a meaningless coincidence, but a numerical clue that reveals these two stories are related to one another.Immediately following the shepherd's flock of 100 sheep is a similar parable of a woman who had 9 silver coins that searched her house with a lamp for her 10th coin that was lost.

With this in mind let's take another look at these two parables.
The shepherd's 100 sheep
The shepherd's 1 lost sheep in this story clearly represents a lost sinner who needs to be born-again in the righteousness of Christ. However could there be a deeper meaning that's hidden within this parable?
Take the message of the Kingdom to lost sheep of the house of Israel

When will God's everlasting covenant with Abraham's offspring be complete?
The number 10 represents completeness
The number 10 in the Bible represents completeness. The 10 commandments is a summary of the complete law of God. The 10 days of the Feast of Trumpets that has 100 trumpet blasts is prophetic for God's complete tribulation judgment of unbelieving mankind and the salvation of Israel. And the shepherd's flock of 100 sheep represents all who will be saved that will complete God's Kingdom of righteous saints, Jews and Gentiles, Romans 10:11-13, Matthew 12:18, Galatians 3:8.The children of promise like Isaac are born-again through faith
Abraham at the age of 100 when his promised son Isaac was born by faith (Romans 4:16, 19-22), and Jesus the good Shepherd finding his 100th lost sheep, are two stories that are prophetic for Israel, the promised sons like Isaac who will be born-again by faith in Christ at the end of the tribulation.Galatians 3:6-7 just as Abraham "believed God, and it was counted to him as righteousness"? (7) Know then that it is those of faith who are the sons of Abraham (like Isaac).
Galatians 4:28 Now you, brothers, like Isaac, are children of promise (born-again through faith in Jesus).
